    Exactly what I was thinking.

Maybe Doc Lipinski is good at drawing...

I remember a dude on this forum who was a Genius at rendering the final cars by seing the Prototypes under heavy camouflage.

He rendered the FF and The F12 almost like the final version...
    I don't remember His name.

    Don't waste your time...

I think everybody should focus on the topic, the "Hardcore" version of the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta

Debates about the GTO badge are completely pointless, Ferrari call their cars how they want,

We should consider "599 GTO" has a personnal name, period.

Does the 599 GTO or the F12SV desserve to be called GTO is a question that is as stupid as asking if a dude called "Mr Jordan" desserves to have this name since he's bad at playing Basket ball.

599 GTO is the name that was given to the car by its creator there's nothing to argue about that.

ALL the persons who drove a GTO and wrote about their experience were completely amazed by this machine.

    End of the debate.

Ferrari was also able, to improve ( shorten) the up- and downshifttimes of The DCT by 30-40 ms!

Amen. Thanks for all the info. Sounds like the F12VS is a beast and we can only be very, very happy about that. I hope you enjoyed speccing yours and she will only make your impressive collection of cars look even more impressive.

    Cheers mate,

Oh and by the way Elipinski, I know it might be a bit early to ask but do you know if they will be producing an open top version of this car? Just wanted to know as some might have posed this question at the launch. Thanks.

    Thanks for the info!

Do you know the 0-200? Nowadays it's getting more relevant than 0-100.

The German dealer confirmed they would be making an open top version of the F12 as well and he will let me know when he gets more info on either of the two F12 upcoming versions.

As far as weight goes keep in mind Ferrari claimed kerb weight of F12 was less than 3600 lbs.

Turned out F12 weighs greater than 4000 lbs with fluids.

So whatever Ferrari claims about weight of new "GTO" tack on about 400 lbs and that should be close...

Italian scales apparently calibrated on the moon or something...

I'm somewhat surprised your dealer confirmed this, as to my knowledge there has been no confirmation about an F12 Spider from the factory. Rumours have been wizzing around for years...

Exactly and I have been everywhere, I suspect like Mister M, to get a line on this as that is the car I really want. Regardless, I cannot get confirmation or not, albeit it is a logical run out in late 2016.

The need to use the LM moniker again.... as in Le Mans...F-12 LM has a good ring to it.
