A lot of people have claimed in the past few months they are looking for a low mile GTB 3 pedal with shields (cant tell if those are factory or not). Interesting to see what happens with this one.

Looks pretty good. Passenger airbag cover looks strange. Not factory shields.

Seems like a great deal. I've communicated with the seller, and he said he likely has a buyer and could possibly end the auction early.

Last major was done in 2005 according to his records.

Looks like a nice car. Maybe the color is hurting the sale? When I was looking the only search option was red and there weren't an abundance of low mileage spiders with that criteria. Black Horse seems to corner the market on red low mileage spiders.

Did he give you an idea of the sale price?
High 60s is a steal for that car...

Lots of f1 spiders on the market, so I think that works against them.

He did not but, if the auction picks up and passes the offer, he said he would let it play out.

No major service in 10 years. Car likely needs a lot of attention as it's probably not been driven much.

That's 6 months ago pricing...would be surprised if it isn't sold already.

It has 48k on the odo. That seems correctly priced in this (strong) market.

6 months ago, this would have been low $40's.

    That's true!

Great value though. Any car that's sorted and sells for half the price of a low mile garage queen IMO is a good buy.

70k. Not bad considering it hadn't had a major in 11 years.

I agree. If I was looking right now I would be all over this one to see if everything checked out. I'll take a well sorted driver over a garage queen all day long.

Long time listener, first-time caller. Just starting to learn about the F355 market. Interested as a potential first-time F-car owner (I guess I just like upping the degree of difficulty in everything I do).

I came across this '97 but haven't seen it mentioned here yet.
97 Nero Source Motors Ferrari 355 Spider | eBay

Carfax says 6 owners and it hasn't had meaningful mileage put on it since 2010, which would be 'interesting' to know more about. André at Source says they don't have very complete service record history, so the price is starting to make some sense - There's a mouthwatering PPI coming, then a likely major and some other belt/hose/tire replacement work immediately to follow. I haven't seen black/black on a 355 like this before, and I gotta say it looks really sharp.

Any advice from folks who've traveled this road is much appreciated.

If service records go back at least 1-2 majors, I'm OK with it.

Cosmetic condition looks excellent--the only thing I noticed was the unavoiadable seat bolster wear.

The asking price is reasonable only if the service records are with the car. Looks like the Spider is following the B/GTS uptick. Inevitable, considering its lower production numbers.
