The 5s penalty for Hamilton will be added after the race? How stupid is this? Imagine someone else was directly behind him in #3 and was faster than both Hamilton and Rosberg in the lead, but can't pass Hamilton. With Hamilton's penalty handed out right now, that #3 would have the chance at attacking Rosberg. With the penalty handed out after the race, he wouldn't have that chance. Stupid rule...

Stupid rule...Now the spectators have to add 5 second in mind to see who is leading...Why not a simple stop-and-go and everybody seen who is on what position...Nothing to do with Hamilton, just a stupid rule...

Bottles in particular is looking racy.

 

As I read it Ham would have to beat the guy behind him by more than 5 secs to retain his place.

But who is passing their teammates on comparable strategies?

 

Stop and go is more than 5 unless they add it to a pit stop

Yup, but during the race that guy is still physically behind Hamilton and can not directly attack Rosberg - or anyone else in front, if it happens in the midfield, the rule is even worse. And, as Peter said, adding 5s in your mind to see the actual ranking is seriously bad.

 

Is it ...well with more than 60k posts you might get something right once in awhile
