Pretty poor race overall. Well-controlled by Nico. Good job, there. Ferrari a mess this weekend. Mistakes on-track and from the pits. Vettel made a great effort, but not a chance at the end. Another Ferrari mistake costing themselves another podium. Next stop, Silverstone!
I think this race may have sealed Kimi's fate for next season. To say he's on his back foot would be a gross understatement.
That one hell of a dumb comment if you've seen the replay of the accident.... Did you see that sharp carbon fibre undertray flashing by......... And by the way; making fun of people or name calling is what does remind me of school.... (Primary school that is)
This was a race accident combined whit the fact that open top racing comes with inevatable dangers; so a penalty does not seem right..... (nor that I think Verstappens penalty was right; but that's another matter)
Settle down, Did you read Toils post? Did you see the clip? It was Kimi under Alonso and near the under tray
This race was worse than watching paint dry. At least with paint, there is a chance that you can get high from the fumes.
No need. The WCC is legit,… Mercedes built the best car to the rules. But it's been obvious Mercedes had won the WCC since the checkered flag of Round 1. The WDC is a joke this year. All it will decide is who is the better between Lewis and Nico. No one else is competing. I, like most I suspect, believe Lewis is better driver than Nico. (the major disagreement comes from Lewis place in the all-time rankings,… I personally don't think it's realistic to think we can compare Schumacher to Hamilton to Clark To Fangio). I'd be surprised If Lewis didn't win the WCC. On talent he should. But a bit of bad luck with reliability,… pit issues,… or Maldonado , and Nico could sneak in.
Highlight of the day - apparently there is no on board footage from Alonso's car. Upon hearing this Brundle said, "Nothing works on that car at the moment, not even the on board camera...!" True enough. Poor McLaren.
WEll, let's hope Nico puts his head on the right place again and goes back to being a real chaleng for Hamilton...
No penalty for Kimi. Nice comment from Alonso: ''when I saw Kimi was ok I was happy''. He also commented that it was very strange to see the car suddenly veer left at that speed.
SKY was saying it would be ruled - racing incident. I agree. Not a big deal just good both are ok. Scary situation.
Totally agree, with a slightly different angle and position it could've been Kimi that lost his head here...
The F-car must be a handful on cold tires given Kimi's performances. Vettel really must by one of the class of the field.
