    After many years of searching the right car finally cropped up. It had to be white, black roof, red leather interior and V12.

    And here it is.

    I found this car in the US. It was taken there from the UK about 20 years ago and has been a consistent North American concours winner over that period of time. With any luck it'll arrive with me in April.

    Congrats Russel!
    Always loved XJ (well, I have to confess I prefer them with four doors) S2 are definitely the nicest.
    The rear wings, that fantastic front valance and this huge bonnet...
    The "Kent" rims are really cool.
    And "the cherry on the cupcake" the switch to go from one tank to the other one... Love it

    I have been looking for a correct one during one year, but could not find any without rust except this one with a stunning "blue lagoon" paint...

    We did not find a deal, still a regret but a I probably would not have bought the 400 if so.

    Congrats again!
