We would like to thank everyone that made this event a success. The Four Seasons Resort, John L. , Steve F. And Jessica A. With 56 FCA members registered and over 40 Ferraris on the grass. Did we mention we had all 3 Hypercars how about a official Schumi F1 car?

It was a great evening of super cars, friends, and food. I especially want to thank John L., our club president Shawn R., Steve F. from Boardwalk, the staff at Four Seasons, and other event sponsors. You made the evening spectacular. Also thanks to the club members that made the effort to bring their cars. Congratulations to those who won an awards. They were well deserved. I am sure that some of the spectators did not realize how rare it actually was to see the F1 car, La Ferrari, Porsche 918, and the McClaren P1, in one place that up close. A special thanks to the owners of those cars for sharing them with us. Amazing!

Thank you to everyone that made it out and enjoyed themselves. If the event was a success it was because of your participation.

Just thinking outside the box but next time you may want to post BEFORE the event if you want to draw new members.

no, this was member only event, if it would have been posted on FerrariChat then there would be a bunch of crashers. just by word of mouth we got some old members like David and Greg to rejoin. I agree with how they approached it. There are plenty of events like F1 watching where you don't have to be a member. now after seeing how great the event was you can join today and your membership will be good for next years! :D

I thought this was a great event. It appears that there were a few hundred spectators beyond the club members even with the limited/restricted information regarding the event.

I think the event could become a terrific charity event for the DFWFCA, especially, if there was a way to keep the Four Seasons, Boardwalk, and other sponsors involved and supporting a larger event.

The location is excellent and the premises layout allows for controllable and restricted access.

I also think DFW needs a national exotic car event. This area certainly has the resources, vehicles, support, and people to make it happen.

Keels and Wheels was started by a couple car and boat enthusiasts and now draws people nationally, and maybe internationally, and it is the only comparable event in Texas.

In any event, I hope the Ferrari Cruise In (Party) continues.

those were all Four Seasons members/guests. I didn't see anyone entered or just with the Ferrari group that wasn't a member. each FCA member could bring a guest too.

    Rob,

Your point is well taken. I am not a club member and that is the first time I have been to the Four Seasons.

The Four Seasons actually had the event posted on their public Facebook page at least twice a few days before the event. I wouldn't know why, but it looked like an open invitation to me.

Maybe, there was some confusion on their part about that.

In any event, my point was just that it was a great event and has a lot of potential for whatever the DFWFCA may want to do with it.

    Fixed it for ya! :p

Agree with Rob not to post it publicly, someone had to pay for the food and drink and our sponsors were very generous to do so. An open invitation would've made it a zoo. I think the turnout already exceeded all expectations.

    Membership has its privleges. :)

We hold these private events as a "THANK YOU" to our members. We always have a few surprises for them. For the club to grow it does have to grow its membership. We have an amazing group of men and woman that make it what it is. To add to what Rob said. We have plenty of "open" events for anyone to come out and see if it is for them. There was a gentlemen on Sunday at the F1 party that was confused why his lap times did not count. Once again to quote Jimpo. "Membership has its privileges."

Why would anyone pay to be a member if there is no value?

Ferrari is not a exotic car company. It is a exclusive car company. The club has exclusive events for a similar reason.
