Ties in with a lot of what I have been told. That really is a special variant, much more so than a Speciale so will definitely be badged accordingly. I am now hearing LM as the favourite and given my dealer had 6 LFs and has an allocation of just 8 of these, that suggests a run of 650. Should be Amazing
Good point as why is it set in the configurator setting? Also I understood the GTO gills were set behind the rear wheels.
Wow!! The black line with prancing horse in the back is not too much beautiful.. There is much Sp America in this car
We really need elipinski to verify before we get too excited given he has seen it at a private viewing. My F12 is Nero Daytona but with so much going on design wise will need to select a lighter colour to do it justice.
HERR DOKTOR ES GIBT EINEN NOTFALL PAGING ELIPINSKI I'M FREAKIN EXCITED After re-reading carrefully waht Elipinsly Wrote, it seems to be real. Elipinski's description fits the picture. George Wang, I Love You I was prepared to wait two month before seing it.
Why is it set in the configurator at this stage? Why are the side windows so indistinct with no apparent break between side and rear windows? Finally, given Ferrari always play to their heritage, given we understand there are rear gills, logically they would follow the GTO link and place them behind the rear wheels, vertically as I understood was the case. Finally, looking at it, it looks just a little too 'race' for the street although it would justify an LM badge. Also rereading as you suggest, Epilinski notes the rear gills are as per the GTO and these are certainly not, so I call it fake. But possibly quite a good one
I took ages to decide on my Speciala Aperta for the same reason and in the end went with RC. This time thinking a darker red like Mugello, or with metallic like Rosso Berlinetta or fiorano. Also like Grigio Silverstone. Decisions decisions.
No problem just doing what you guys would do! Hopefully I'll be getting one of these beasts but I'm really looking forward to a side picture. To those calling them fakes. I'm just the messenger and these were the pics that my dealer took and sent me.
Thanks for sharing those pictures, sounds real do you have some information from your dealer how it will be called ? VS/GTO/HGTE or something else...
Not calling it a fake but would be great to have a confirmation so I can ramp up my own excitement. Wife loves it as well which is a huge bonus. My virtual viewing is July 13 so will look at stripes on the configurator but would not want a stripe to distract from the design but keeping an open mind.
No more information than everybody already knows. Details will be coming soon though hopefully we will know a lot more before mid July
We are all really grateful you have posted this as it is the first images we have to comment on. Looking at the image more closely there would appear to be an indication the car has been 'dropped in' although I am not well qualified to comment. Also, what is it doing on the configurator now in any format? As I said, if it is a fake, I think it is a good one as much of it ties up. We need our German friend to comment
Interestingly for a design, particularly from the rear perspective, that clearly takes inspiration from the GTOs of the 60s, to not be called GTO seems almost more strange than to be called a GTO if that makes sense. IMHO this looks more GTO than the 599 GTO notwithstanding the fact there is no linkage to any XX series unlike the 599. I says this because my wife's immediate reaction was that I would like this design since I love cars from the 60s (I also have the 911 991 50th Anniversary Edition and Shelby Mustang GT500).
Looks real and corresponds with the info I've received regarding the car's design. The render is set in Ferrari's Atelier enviroment which leads me to believe it's authentic.
sorry, cavalcade in rome keeping me busy)) yes, thats The car, but Looks in flesh much more beautiful!!!! best e Sent from my iphone with Tapatalk
