I think it was carbed. The description stated that the car was running, but had sat for a number of years.

Who wants to guess what the anny will go for with that momentum?

so Roy, is the question because you are going to DRIVE THEM LIKE THEY WERE MEANT TO BE DRIVEN, IF YOU WANT TO LOOK AT ONE, BUY A POSTER! ?
Clearly that car has been looked at too long and needs a little fun! :)

It sits too low at the rear.

Very impressed that you can see that Raymond. What should the distance be from the ground to the bottom of the skirts on an 88?

    90K? Can you elaborate?

I don't think you can buy any Countach for 90K, even if it's been on fire for weeks and is currently engulfed in flames.

Not the bottom of the skirts, but the top, the line which separates the skirt from the door/fender should be horizontal.
The 88.5 skirts have a different shape which per themselve make the car look sitting lower at the rear.

I have been off here for a while and enjoy catching up!
There is a Contact meeting in the UK on Sunday and the organiser is hoping to have 12-14 cars there.
I have had a few phone calls and emails about selling my car. As it is a fairly well known car in the UK as i use it a lot, and my name is unique in the UK it isn't hard to find me or how to contact me! I appreciate it is my choice. I do have issues with private telephone numbers etc. Again my peculiar view.
Anyway. A few people have contacted me to ask to buy my car.
Mine is an 86 QV DD with a bout 30,000 km. I have spent about £30,000 on it since i bought it 8 years ago. Routine stuff and new full exhaust, clutch etc and anything and everything i thought needed done.
Some of the paint needs sorted. Before Joe says anything the bottom of the cills need painted black. The back wing has bumps on it. The interior is original and worn. I hate the electric although they work and want to rewire parts of the car. The engine bay is original and one could argue quite tatty. It is one of the fastest that those with experience have driven. It is simply a well used, much loved car, driven as it was intended to be driven by me. Not much history before me although it was all checked out.
So, its not a garage queen or concourse car, nor would i ever want it to be. It's a hooligan brute of a car and thats the way i like it.
Any views on values nowadays as i feel so completely out of touch!
    Any worthwhile comments appreciated.

I am at my photo limit so can't upload any more. There are quite a few photos on this forum already.
The car is White on white, standard Euro RHD DD QV. All original apart from the ignition box which I got from Raymond and the stainless manifolds and exhaust system.

Lots of Annis, not many QV ,dd or fi s. Seems to be a common tread wherever in the world you might be.
