for those of you that have ordered your car from the dealer is anyone paying over msrp or is that only for the used cars that are back on the market? does anyone have a sense as to what the real over msrp number should be after negotiating on a 2015 car?

Depending on miles, current market for a 1 owner used car seems to be running around $40k over for a 2015... I don't know what dealers are doing for ordered ones, but finding availability for allocations is virtually impossible at this point

Only for used. US new cars are at MSRP.

From what I understand, any NEW Ferrari sold in the US has to be sold at MSRP.

All bets are off once the vehicle is titled --> used.

Just wait for the first batch delivery of 488, then when people start to smoke the Speciale in straight race, many would put it on the market.

IMO, speciale is becoming prohibitively expensive.

There has been a big hype around limited and special edition Ferrari's the past 2 years. With the 458 Speciale being the last N/A V8 it might hold steady. But lets see what happens when the 488 GTB starts rolling onto the streets.

    Happy hunting.

Yea - seems like the advertised asking premiums are not holding up for actual sale prices.

Great info, thank you for posting. Any idea what the asking prices were on these cars?

Wow! Are these prices recent? Those prices are low and not what I saw while shopping. I bid over msrp on several cars and they sold to others at higher prices. I finally got a car that's arriving in August . From my experience the market is around 40 over for used ones.

Yep, pretty sure. The Austin one was listed on DuPont Registry, and the grigio example was purchased by my friend.

The last one I had called personally about, but was informed that it had already sold. I asked how much and the sales guy disclosed the final sale price. There could be a chance he lied, but it seems unlikely for a sales rep to lie about a lower than asking sale price.

There seems to be much fewer listings now, people might get feverish and give into the crazy premiums. Who knows, but if you have the money why not. Price watching is only for average joes like me =)

    Happy hunting

There is a white 2015 Speciale at a local dealer. The car has under 250 miles and is pretty lightly optioned (around $325k). The owner traded it back in as he has a SA on the way. You can pm me and I'll send you the dealer's info.

The same dealer has a new grigio titanio F12 I've been looking at. I have a white 2015 Speciale on order which should be here in August. I've attached a configurator picture of the build. There's a possibility I take the F12, resulting in my build being an "open" car as I doubt my ability to justify two new Ferraris to my wife. If you're interested in my ordered car let me know and I'll relay your info to the dealer. The F12 really is an amazing car and I hope to have a decision sorted out in the next week or so.

'15's are selling for a premium over '14's. I believe even '14's are still over MSRP but probably not by much...

My guess is that depreciation on Speciale's will be modest, probably less than Scud's...

488's will have lots of depreciation over time...

458's will drop some more but they've already taken a hit (especially coupes), so from here on out losses will be gradual....

'15's are bringing about 10-15 over similarly equipped '14's, assuming similar mileage as well

I believe the authorized dealers can only sell at a premium if the car is more than 6 months old.

I don't see this scenario playing out. Speciale is about emotion just like scud and challenge stradale before it. 488 has considerably more power and torque but I don't know of a single speciale owner that is planning to trade the speciale for a 488. I think speciales could come down if there is a general cooling of the new (and recent) car market, but not related to the 488.
