Interesting. They actually have a couple events coming up not too far from me. Might have to think about making the trek to attend one.
I gloat about my favorite cigar store, uhles, ND have to give them a shout out today. They got a great article in a national magazine. Love this place! No financial affiliation from my end just sharing the info. If you're ever in the Milwaukee area you are missing out if you don't stop by and say hi. Image Unavailable, Please Login

You are loaded for at least a week or two!! Nice haul!! Sitting at my buddy's now enjoying a Fuente Double Chateau. Great stick!!
Haha so true five of those will be gone tomorrow for celebration and 30 will be sold to my friend tomorrow so I'll be short sticks very soon. You can never go wrong with a Fuente!
that goes both ways. you turned me on to a few good ones that I had not had before! btw, smoked a symmetry at habanos café Thursday.
I believe that the word 'great' is used much to frequently to describe cigars. I'm guilty of it, lots of reviews are guilty. But this artisanal company is making some really special, great cigars. Tabacalera Casa de Zabala - 1936 Elegante. Comes in four sizes: robusto, toro, pyramid and doble figurado. Nicaraguan Habano oscura wrapper over filler from Jalapa and Esteli. It's sweet underlying the whole cigar. Cocoa, coffee, peppers, graham cracker notes, caramel notes and a meaty, salty subtleness. Extremely bold flavors that bring something new every puff. Picks up to being a full bodied cigar towards the last third. Crazy good for $10 price point. I'm so excited to be one of the first ten retailers for this brand! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Excellent. I'm pretty much a Padron "whore" anyways but it was very tasty. Great draw as always, nice and complex but not too heavy or spicy. I like a good Maduro and this one qualifies. Lit up a Torano Exodus Finite last night. Another great stick. Should have bought more of these when I found 'em.
Padron makes amazing sticks and that finite as well. I just sparked on up the other day. Today I got some peace and a mat Sherman Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Took my dad out for father's day and what a great time with some golf, sun, one of my favourite sticks and a man who has done so much for me in my life. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Kyle, Sorry I took so long to thank you for your reply. I totally forgot about this thread! I very much appreciate your advice and will take it. I personally like the lighter cigars so this is fantastic advice. I also am thankful for the type recommendation.. Cheers
Figured now that I saw the post I can echo the same thing. When starting out I would suggest a light wrapper and a shorter length. A great little cigar to start with is a Blondie or Kuba Kuba by Acid. Flavor infused has helped a few I know into starting cigars. Body/Flavour wise I would not go past medium with an emphasis on mild. I will agree with Kyle regarding the lighter wrapper. Also, while starting don't opt in for anything to expensive as you won't be able to appreciate it. Few of my suggestions Acid Kuba Kuba ( Acid Kuba Kuba Sumatra Robusto Infused Single Cigar - Thompson Cigar ) Perdomo Champagne ( Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Champagne Cigars - Thompson Cigar) Oliva ( Oliva Connecticut Reserve Robusto Connecticut - Thompson Cigar ) Perdomo Lot 23 ( Perdomo Lot 23 Robusto Connecticut - Thompson Cigar ) San Cristobal line up has some milder cigars for a great price but I would check with the store you visit on that one. You can never really go wrong with a Fuente product just make sure it is a ligther body.
