Don't get stuck in the mud next time ya go..mate ....I think the traffic is better now...other than that I'll go halves with you on a helicopter
I watched the Sky feed, but taped the NBC version. Gonna go watch their version later just for ****s & grins......
We'll call it great timing. "If" could have painted many different scenarios today...had things not broken just right, neither of the guys flanking Hamilton on the podium would have been there. Once the rain hit, the Williams just seemed to melt. I don't know if that was a car or driver issue, but it was sad after such a great stretch in today's race. Kimi was screwed the most by "If" today...right call, wrong timing.
Ham DID call the pit. He called it right before coming in stating "my tires are finished" and dove in.
Nice race was predictable and helped by the rain. LH was perfect and patient and timed his wet tire call to the point!! What more can you say. Even with the rocket Williams start I never felt he would not win. Williams not fast in the wet and Vettel kept it together. Kimi just has no luck and his future cannot be secure. Ferrari are in trouble I think as Williams are fast in the dry and Ferrari must improve.
But that would mean that it was not a great call because he predicted the rain but just a necessary one because he somehow screwed the tires before...At the end it does not a difference but maybe one should not give him to much credit for that...
correct......the fact that it then started raining was pure luck and won him the race....not that he wouldn't have won anyway....but if there was a challenge, it was finished after that.
kvyat really showing ricciardo up too. so Nico and Vettel shouldn't have been anywhere if it wasn't for the rain as well. But they both drove well in it.

Surely any reasonable observer would admit the result had more to do with luck than anything. Williams are the ones who should be shuffling their feet and looking downwards. That race was theirs for the taking. Yes, Ferrari were also lucky to be in the podium. But anyone who thinks that Lewis won that race by "skill" needs a huge reality check.
thanks....that's what I was trying to say!! If it had started raining a lap later, maybe Lewis would have been on slicks and then Nico came in for inters. Anyway, it worked out how it should...Mercedes 1-2 with the pole sitter winning.
Well, to finish first, first you have to finish ... McLaren may have the end of their purgatory in sight ...
