Grosjean??? who kind of deserves the same nickname as his teammmate " crashjean"

Grosjean is involved in about every second incident on the track. I continue to be surprised he still in F1 all together. If he ends up with Ferrari than they are ven more stupid thn what I though when they re-hired raikkonen.

No prices for guessing who's involved in every first. Watching the footage from today's crash I think most of the fault was Maldonado who seemed to loose it before it touched with Ricci.

Yet Grosjean putting all the blame on Riccardo.

No, not like that. The team told him to pit for tires there. We have been over this. Kimi insisted on coming in and himself said it was his own call. Whereas in Hams case the team openly are on record saying they called him in

Is someone twisting history again? The team told him not to pit and Hamilton panicked, but yes, we've been over this. Sometimes a gamble turns out brilliantly, like yesterday where it saved his victory. Sometimes you pay dearly, like in Monte Carlo.

    Krafty,

Thank you. You have come a long way and can now acknowledge that the Ham fans have their own version of reality :). Your recovery is obviously going well.

The British fans sure enjoyed Toil's win. As they should!

Yes let's sack the best driver on the grid who's winning everything.

Kimis results have demonstrated he doesn't belong anymore. And even you, his most ardent fan, realise this

Finally something we could agree on...It was a team decision and Hamilton is part of the team (at least I hope so)....

Didn't Alonso make the same call at the same time ?
It was a gamble but not a stupid one.
If it had paid off Kimi would have leap frogged a good number of cars which he wouldn't of got past otherwise as the Ferrari is sweet handling but TOO SLOW.

If we must get a new second driver that bloke at Williams looks good, Felipe something ?

What we really need is more speed from the car

How anyone the knows motorsport defend kimi is unbelievable the guy a joke in the last 10 laps he went from at a decent pace to being the slowest car on the track . The man has no pride he should have a lest crashed trying to get back in the top 6 but no he rides home . Vettal blew all these guys away st monza in 2008 . Schumi had the 2010 Canadian gp won but for DRS webber was finally able to blow buy him on a dry track because of DRS . Vettal got the max out of his car in the wet just like Schumi . Every time I see kimi I see clown hack lawyer

Mule, I enjoy your insight on F1. You were the first to call the Marlboro Man stepping-in. Your views of the behind-the-scenes power-plays are excellent, IMO. However, you get too hung-up on anything connected to Clown Hack Lawyer. It prevents you from seeing things neutrally at times. Kimi has left a bit to be desired this season, so far. Mistakes have been made. But to attack his result from this weekend is somewhat unfair. He did a great job in every session, but got hung out to dry (no pun intended) when making the call for inters when he did. Ferrari had to play two strategies. Get one car in early, and get the second car in later. One of the two calls was going to formulate a podium. This weekend, it was Vettel that benefitted from the call.

The driver pits the car it's his call . Like hambone saying my rides are gone I need new tires it was his fault because he pitted from the lead at a track you can't pass on . Kimi is at fault for pitting because he lacks the skill to push in changing conditions

you've got to admit that it's a lot dumber to pit in Monaco while you're leading than to take a gamble with the rain when you are fifth or six at Silvertone....

Rally Chris your are right to run two strategies but in my opinion if they had true confidence in kimi they can let him do his own thing and get maximum results. Kimi was paid Michael money in 2007 and today he's one of the few driver's that doesn't have to find money he should be in a much better spot . The spin on cold tires at Canada was a prime example he not going to finish inside the top two and he throws it all away on a low-speed traction event are the slowest corner track a rookie mistake

    +1 ;)

They (I don't think it was exclusively Kimi's call) gambled on the rain coming a little sooner. If it had, we'd be calling them geniuses this morning! It didn't, but given his position & traffic at the time, it was worth a shot.

It's very easy to see the 'screw ups' from your armchair after the fact......

    Cheers,
    Ian
