Drove a few of those. I thought the hybrid had much more power than the S model, which I was very surprised to experience. I thought the S was very slow accelerating. But, yes, I couldn't get past the looks.

How about a Range Rover Sport Supercharged, but perhaps not enough of a "stage presence"...? or just roll the dice with a new FF?

As long as FF replacement will have NA V12 it will be a winner

    Your FF looks insane!!!

Can I ask what has been the problems with the car, what year is it and what is the mileage?

hey! thanks, i really do love it. i dont think i can give it up.

it's a 2012, 25k kms on it. I've mainly had battery issues and i had some "belt" melt which made the car inoperable.

it's been fine the past 2 months.

    I agree!

    My other favourite everyday cruiser!

They sound so amazing and it is truly the very best RR every made.

With the Novitec Exhaust did you just do the back boxes or the whole system?

hey - i actually don't have the Novitec exhaust, just all the external pieces. makes a big difference on the look of the car.

I drive my FF daily, get terrible economy and the issue is not the cost of the fuel rather that I am at the fuel station every 1 to in best case 3 days. Its gets very annoying. I would like either better economy or twice the fuel capacity so that I could spread stops out more conveniently.

MY office is 18-22km each way depending on my route. Then through the day I go at least another 80-200km per day depending on what I have going on appointment wise.

Lately a trip home midday had been a normal occurrence as well to check in on the new garage build. 130-300km a day has been regular lately on the FF.

It does add up quickly. But I enjoy the heck out of it.

It has 24.000km on it already and It was delivered in January. In addition to the day to day during that 6 or so months it's been on a handful of vacations including a few winter trips to the mountains at 1000km each and beach trip Italy at 2500km. I had it on the Nordschleife 2 weeks ago and we will take it back to Italy 1 September for another 2500.

Right. 2012 most likely to have issues IMO.

If you want to not go to the gas station get a Tesla P90D. 0-60 in 2.8 sec. 4WD
240 miles a day and plug it in at night.

The Porsche Macan Turbo is fast and fun and easy to drive fast. Best crossover.

You have very nice cars, the g63 not g65 will complement your collection perfectly.
Like you I never considered the G for a long time until last year when I finally bought one and fell madly in love with it. It's very very sporty and aggressive, just like a sports car but rugged and can go anywhere. The engine sounds fantastic and is hand assembled by one engineer. If fact the entire car is hand assembled in Austria to a very high standard.
The G has history and character, it's exclusive, fast and exciting to drive...

G65 is way more expensive and offers a more refined experience, I test drove it during my factory visit and was very disappointed.

G63 is the way to go.

I know for sure that the car has 2 more years before a new generation is launched.

    Good luck to you!

The G63 is so top heavy and you sit upright like a fancy jeep. You're on your own there x599. But glad you love it :)

Yep - Macan Turbo is my DD right now. Would have to trade that in for the FF if I went that direction. I could do it as my better half drives an X5M so we would still have an SUV, but I have the hots for that Alfa Giulia Quadrifoglio right now haha!

Eeks ! On your own brother. Keep the Porsche, it's fun and solid

G63, Macan, Alfa are all "cool cars", and yet the FF is "a machine". It's really not like any other car ever made. Needs to be called something besides a car, so says everyone who rides in mine at least.

Number one thing stopping me. Would it be legal to buy a couple of drums and a cool old fashioned pump just top it off at home occasionally? 😬
