Yep. Furthermore, I am getting really irritated when I don't "show the love for Team Hamilton" and people inform me that the reason I don't like him is because he's black. It is possible not to go nuts over a successful black man and have your thoughts be independent of his skin color.

I'll admit there are the idiots that tie it to race right way. However, if you looks at the amount of negativity toward Lewis you obviously see there is something wrong.

I never liked Alonso's character or Vettel's for that matter but I don't go around looking for every single thing these guys are doing to start negative discussions.

For example, the other day multi 21 came up again and how Vettel threatened to sue RB. Not a single person here brought it up for discussion.
Now can you imagine if that was Lewis threatening to sue his team?

Lewis singing, his girlfriend, his earrings, putting on his hat backwards, or a new pair of ripped jeans is the big news around here.

I think Lewis is low hanging fruit.

I was not a Vettel fan, but I didn't and don't "hate" him...same with Lewis. A big difference is that Vettel's arrogance was, for the most part, confined to F1. Lewis is a jet-setter and is intentionally trying to be "relevant" to the world at large...which means different things to different people. To someone like me (mid to late 40s white guy living in a state where weed is legal) his relevance couldn't be more irrelevant. To me, outside of F1 he's a comedic sideshow. Being amused by comedy is not the same as hating. IOW, Hamilton's life outside of F1 is his attempt at being a part of the social discussion...nobody should be surprised when some find it to be negative.

 

We know that Isobel thinks so!

While I have (strong!) opinions on many topics, "handsomeness" in guys is not one of them....
