Will New leather upholstery and new carpet affect vehicle value. Is original from factory leather seats and carpet more valuable?

If I were to replace them, I would go with original factory ferrari saddle leather and a similar tan carpet to original.

Have a price of $2,900 for new carpet and new leather seats (seats are the SS Kevlar style).

My guess is nothing. Keep the original seat covers and carpet.

It depends....is your current interior to the point where it needs to be brought back to life? If it does, then yes, doing nothing will have a negative impact on the value.

If your interior is good or passable then don't worry about it. Save the money for something else.

I'm going to redo my interior pretty soon, and I'm shooting for a more modern appearance -- Alcantara, some cool stitching, etc...BUT - I plan to keep all of the original items, which can be restored and then reinstalled at any time. I'm also planning to re-cushion the SS seats because, in their current state, they give my lower back hell :) Anyway, I think something fresh and new, as long as it is not too out there or can be put back to normal, is just an enhancement.

So far all seem to agree that new leather and carpet (especially if leather is done exactly as factory and in same color).

There is a company here in Naples FL called "Concours Interiors" Small shop all work done by owner (older guy been doing this forever). We are a Snowbird area so our population drops by about 70% this time of year. He will do carpet and both seats for $2950. Carpet is all wool (from maker that does Aston, Jag, etc. and leather is the Ferrari replacement leather).

Question is what do you think of price? It sounds like a killer deal to me!

That's a nice combo to my eye, although I think I'd go for black carpets. I like the tan/black two-tone look, and black carpets are much easier to keep looking sharp. But you won't go wrong with the cinnamon.

At that price I wanna drive to FL and have my black leather redone in tan!!!

That price seems very good to me, but I don't know how much this usually costs. The prior owner of my F355 had some leather work done on my dash by Peppy's Auto Trim in Naples. They do a lot of Bentley, Rolls Royce type cars.
