Sorry if this is a repeat, it seems that I had problems with my previous attempt.

At my annual service this spring, the dealer said that I would need new front pads and rotors soon. I have 20K miles and was surprised at the suggestion of new rotors. Does this sound right?

Also, do you guys have any recommendations on replacement/upgrade pads & rotors?

Unfortunately there is a good chance the dealer is right ! I had to replace badly and way over due all 4 on my car when i bought it at around 29K miles.
I would stay with the OEM rotors/pads

I just replaced my pads at 15,000 miles. I measured the rotors in several spots and they were all within Ferrari specs so I didn't replace them.

If they are CCB then the car has been tracked, they won't wear in normal use. I think he's referring to steel ?

    Yes, conventional steel, not CCB.

Yes if they are within spec, a quick skim, new pads, good as new.
