    During our recent bi-annual trip to visit with one of our great clients / collectors, we had the opportunity to work on an Enzo that is owned by a friend of his.

    This particular car has seen its share of track-time over the years, and also had an aging clear bra on the front that seriously detracted from the looks. New film technology allows the clear bra to virtually disappear...many older films just plain look rough!

    After assessing the vehicle condition, we found that it could stand a paint correction detail somewhere between mid-level and the top of the line. We were also planning on giving the car a very durable protection in the form of a semi-permanent Japanese "glass coating". These coatings offer unrivaled protection (and gloss), and will last several years on daily drivers. We chose Kamikaze Miyabi Coat for its hardness, and for the brilliant shine it provides on red. Once coated, we topped it with Kamikaze Overcoat, which is the maintenance product for coated vehicles.

    As you can see from the pictures below, there was a lot of area for improvement, particularly underneath the old clear bra.

    And just to be clear, you CAN have a highly detailed car that is a regular driver at the same time! By adhering to the following washing / drying techniques in the article and video link below, you will significantly reduce the chance of any type of wash/dry induced swirls and marring.

    Great work, the difference between before and after is truly dramatic. Academic based on my location but is the application of this coating hugely time intensive?

    We had a detailer doing ceramic coating here and a full coating usually took two days to apply.
