Congratulations. It sure is one phenomenal car isn't it? Can't wait to see some pictures. Highly recommend the Capristo with the NR X pipe. Adds just the right amount of sound.
I think it depends on the exterior color. For example, silver or gray paint, then yes on the chrome, reds or white, then a black grill. I still like having the front lip spoiler being color-keyed to the exterior paint, instead of black. Like the earlier years models sometimes had. Never see it anymore. What a pity.
It makes a big difference on the 550/575. I wouldn't mind seeing the difference in the f12 on the front lip. Some people have colour coded the entire rear on the f12 and imo it does not suit.
Here are some F12 front lip spoiler color-keyed to exterior paint color.... http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/141494219-post85.html http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/141599178-post160.html and some were keyed to a light gray... http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/141934944-post342.html http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/141975634-post372.html
My favorite color, that's what that is! ;-) I would guess somewhere in between Rosso Maranello and Rubino Micalizzato? Yes/No?

Yes, its a solid cabernet red, no flake in Mugello. To me this is a dead ringer for Mugello. I don't see any metallic in it.
Agree that it's not metallic. Looks very close to what I have on order ( Rosso Bordeaux). It's beautiful, whatever it is......
Pretty cool f12 with a wrap. Looks like avorio safari inspired. I think this is real: news - wheels - tuning and exhaust by wheelsandmore Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Could you elaborate on Rosso Bordeaux? I don't think it is in any current/recent range, standard, special or historic. At least by that name.
Yes, I did an F12 Tailor Made session at the factory. It was one of the non standard historic colors. First seen on the Dino from what I understand. Not quie as dark as Rosso Barchetta, but more wine red than Rosso Mugello. It is indeed called Rosso Bordeaux. Cheers.
Here is a better idea of the color for the Rosso Bordeaux shade, a wonderful choice! Hope this matches what you were trying to achieve. I always like the deep red colors on a Ferrari and this shade is spectacular. It has an elegance that is lacking in some of the brighter red shades. How did you come up with this Rosso Bordeaux color? Was it something the tailor made people suggested or had you seen it before somewhere? The tailor made is great; one customer chose a wine red for his 599 SA Aperta. He had seen the color previously on an early Ferrari convertible; so Ferrari was able to duplicate that same shade for him to. Image Unavailable, Please Login
