Agree to all points. Also the wheel design is not even close to the actual. Fenders have not been widened, and no vents above rear fenders. This is quite a disappointing render of the real car distorting and missing many design elements so they obviously have not seen it.

    Thanks !

All of this has already been confirmed by Elipinski and there are leaked pictures of the real car.

So we shoudn't waste time discussing what those crappy journalists wrote to sell some paper sheets

Dealer told me FNA didn't qualify me to get an allocation. What are the requirements to get a allocation in the USA? I've previously ordered a 599 GTB, 458 Italia, F12, and 458 Speciale *incoming*.

    It's a mystery isn't it?!

Are all those cars you listed ones you bought new?

From what I understand Ferrari looks for customers who have consistently bought a new car every 18 months. Bonus point for buying Californias and FFs as well as participation in Ferrari events such as Corso Pilota and Ferrari Cavalcade. BIG points when you own supercar Ferraris or vintage Ferraris of interest.

The winning deal is to participate in Corsa Cliente and race in the Ferrari Challenge or in the 599XX/FXX program.

No one ever said it was cheap!

All those cars I bought new. Maybe I need to get into a FF or Cali T soon. LOL Does buying used from an authorized Ferrari dealer count? Lets say if I was going to get a pre-owned Scuderia, 599 GTO, FF, or 360 CS from a factory dealer. Does that go on my record on FNA?

It is possible you are looking for a formula where none exists. The decision from what I can see is being made by humans , on the basis of different prospective buyers' resumes and a set of internal company goals, and I expect the results will thus be somewhat unpredictable.

I think that is absolutely right. It's a bit of everything that shows enthusiasm and passion for the brand, a teaspoon of history with the company, a pinch of Pilota, a smattering of recent purchases, a touch of support from your dealer, in this instance an F12 might help. It is just an amalgamation of everything which builds up a picture of you as a client as interpreted by Ferrari. The only real guarantee is a few million bucks worth of Corsa Clienti or FXX programme-nothing else is for sure.

I think this is the best explanation. There's no formula, not least from what I have experienced.

I have several F cars, I have used the same main dealer for servicing for 15 years and when the 458 SA was launched, I didn't get a look in. I asked for the selection criteria (not in anger but out of genuine curiosity) and received polite silence.

I then added the (marvellous) F50 this year and from nowhere a "cancelled" 458 SA appeared (it's arriving October) and this week, I was confirmed for a F12 VS (factory visit to spec is September).

In my case the there's no question the F50 opened a door. Each case must be different.

How about Rosso China? That always looked good on the 250LM...

Color is important. Years ago there was a F50 for sale in Germany with less than 3,000 miles. No buyer wanted it as the car was painted from the factory in silver.

Did you buy the F50 from an authorized Ferrari dealer? Does it matter where you buy the car from?

Yes, not from my regular dealer.

Sorry, don't know. However once my regular dealer learned I had bought an F50, they immediately asked me for its vin to put into a Ferrari database (haven't a clue which). The F50 was already Classische.

I think we are all just guessing on numbers. As I have already posted, on the basis my large dealer is only getting two more VS/GTOs than they had LFs, that logically suggests 650/700, however with an IPO underway, Felisa departing and the bean counters in the ascendancy, who knows. As to the name, all we know is no one knows, probably even Ferrari.

It was called Rossi Cina and was a standard Fiat colour.
