David ellison's ferrari

a good friend of mine is also an acrobatic pilot and flies with him (ellison) frequently. says that he is a cool guy, very down to earth.

 

He is a major power player in Hollywood, though I think he didn't stay at the USC Film School for very long. While his sister bought some of what I'd call fine art/non-commercial hoighty-toity (you wouldn't believe how far back I reach for some of these words) films, he is going for mainstream. I wonder if, in any films set in modern day, if he will work in a Ferrari.
Maybe when I go to Barker Hanger for the upcoming auction, I will see him, though he might be hard to distinguish if he doesn't wear Ferrari jacket (does anyone wear those anymore?) His film production office is at Santa Monica airport.

 

I have worked as a valet a couple years ago and have driven ellisons car at least 15 times. He had a 458 spider Grigio silverstone/ couio with all the cf inside, cf rear bumper, shields, race seats and a yellow tach as far as I recall. It was an awesome spec and one of my favorites. He is also a very nice guy. I think him and his dad now have a rosso corsa LaFerrari

 

Now this is just downright KOOKY!!

You know I was expecting a "rich kids of instagram moment".. but I'm impressed. Seems like he's really on an interesting path with his life. Very refreshing (read: contrast to Magic Johnsons son).
