    Hi All,
After many years of admiring these cars, i have finally managed to ignore most of the doom mongers words about the 355 and plunged into ownership.
1995 GTB , Rosso Corsa /Crema with red carpets, manual.
I had a Capristo exhaust fitted for good measure.

I traded one of my carb dry sump 308 GTB's for it ..... which may be a little controversial.... but i am totally in love with my new Italian lady!

    BR,
    Jez

Congrats on your new Berlinetta. Looks great. I really like the crema leather.

    308 people are getting wise/smart/opportunistic:)
What better time to get rid of the 308 for a MUCH nicer car.
Also, where do you people find these cars. I keep reading about people buying 355's. Most are not even being advertised.
Sorry, didn't mean to high jack.
Again, very pretty car. Enjoy her in good health.

Considering he's in Tokyo might explain it. ;)

But seriously. Often the nice cars are traded and sold without advertising.

    Hi,
I actually bought the car from my UK indy dealer that i have bought all my cars from in the past ..... but as all have said, this one litterally came in while i was on holiday and just passing by the garage ..... it had been in storage for about 4 years and was covered in dust and cobwebs....... i could see it had very 'good bones' and following a checkover ,i bought/traded the car before it came to market. Just a matter of right place at the right time!

It was almost my perfect 355, except for the fact that it was built on the crossover , and although it is a 2.7, it unfortunately has the (in my eyes anyway) the slightly awkward airbag wheel. I am looking for the non airbag wheel, but i realise my chances are slim!

Many thanks for all your kind words, i look forward to joining in the 355 discussions....
    BR,
    Jez

Gorgeous color combination. Congratulations. We dont see many crema interiors here in the states. Looks very sharp with the deviated red carpeting.

I have been offered a Challenge grill for a very good price ..... i think i might go with it, as it breaks up the colour visually .....but keep the original as a spare.

The custom Capristo installed by KHPC is really a thing of amazing sound and beauty...... shame it gets hidden away under that ugly heat shield!

Having driven many high performance cars, i can honestly say that i dont think i have heard anything to match this sound ...... my colleague filming this next to me , was having his first Ferrari experience ..... he was absolutely in silence from shock, for about 30 minutes after the drive! ...... I wish i could somehow get my 512TR to sound as good as this.
