Thank you M. So sorry, we have not had a chance to meet. When is your next drive planned? Definitely want to join you my friend! Very best- e-
No worries E it will work out one day I'm sure. Next drive is on August 6th at Spa with the Challenge. We will do the 1000 corners in Luxemburg on August 15th and 16th. Will do that one with the 991 GT3 as it is a fun car to use on twisty roads. Will probably be at Maranello in September for the F12 VS. Ciao Amigo.
You are cracking me up with you letter code names ahahah looks like a secret society of sick Ferraris owners. M : Maranello .. F12 VS... Should I smell a nasty Atelier-made beast with tons of alcantara , carbon and grey paint ?
DC (see letter codes): I'd call us "passionate" Ferrari owners. Sick has such a nasty ring to it Alcantara, carbon and tons of it would certainly be on the wish list and GFM (like my ex HGTE) is certainly a serious contender in the color range.
Why does seeing this car every morning never get old? Pushing 24,000 kms now ... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry sick was connected to the word "Ferrari" not the owners I'm pretty sure you're in perfect Health But yeah "Passionate owners " sums it up perfectly Can't wait for the delivery thread and the "F12 VS & 599 GTO " write up comparison.
Maybe because Ferrari design is timeless and ages really well Your F12 has about the same kms as my GTO and with the GTO I have the same feeling you do never tired of looking at it. Cheers, M I'll start preparing for it
Ok bit of a sad picture this time. Question: what can cause a manettino failure, an abs failure, an AVH failure, an e-diff failure, a check engine light and cause the car to lose all power so you end up being stranded at 6am on a Parkway outside New York City? For those of you not familiar with road naming this side of the pond, a parkway only allows cars and not trucks so you can't call your own Ferrari friendly flat bed and have to rely on the only tow trucks allowed on the parkway which are NOT Ferrari friendly. Had it not been for the lifter, the car wouldn't have made it onto the tow truck and I'd probably still be standing there. PS the answer is "the left rear speed sensor" - grrrr PPS looked up the owners manual - each wheel has a speed sensor - it's part of the ABS system Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Mark, bad situation ... and i would worried for an not adapted tow truck I hope for you that the DCT will run ok for long time ...... Best regards
Yes indeed! Grazie Where there is a failure that is to do with the ABS system it would be really nice to be able to disable it completely so at least you can drive home. I HATE that I was stranded.
Yeah, must not be nice in New York to be stranded like that in front of all passing (and mocking) cars. Well at least it happened very early
Sorry to read of your troubles. Thats terrible. Glad you're ok. Parkway/Freeway...Its all a conspiracy by those in power to confuse the masses into submission and make us watch endless hours of reality tv...
Avario, Nero roof obviously, These potato camera photos do not do Avario justice. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
