Just wanted to introduce myself to the FF/F12 group...

My business partner and I recently started an aftermarket auto company - and one of our purchases was a beautiful 2012 FF with only 3K miles on it that we are doing a full build on - for marketing and what not :)...

Not too sure how to navigate this forum, but - i'll see if I can keep this thread updated with pics/progress/etc...

List of what we are going to do:

    1) FULL, and I am talking Engine/Exhaust/Suspension/Aero Novitec kit (already ordered, should be here in about 2 weeks)
    2) Custom one off DPE Wheels 21's in the Front, 22's in the Rear...

I have attached some photos of how she looks now for reference...

If you're going to do before and after photos - it might be a good idea to get them professionally done especially if you're going into the business.

Yea, the build is being done by my good friends in San Diego at HG Motorsports - so, we have something special scheduled for a before/after/advertising...

I was formerly the Sales Manager for the past 3.5 years for one of the largest aftermarket distributors, and previously, the Sales Manager for Shelby - so...pretty much using my skills/background to combine the two.

Honestly the FF is really Ferrari's best kept secret - I recently drove a 458 and a California for a few trips and nothing comes close to the FF package. They all offer different experiences in their own right but the FF is really the ONE that does it all for me.

I 100% agree - very few people realize the V12 in the FF is the same engine that is in the F12 (I am referring to "non Ferrari people")...additionally, my other vehicle is an R8 V10 - so, sure, I LOVE the lines of the 458...more specifically, the 458 speciale - but it didn't exactly make much sense to own two "weekend cars"...

I am really looking forward to this build - as the F12 sits - its amazing, but you can tell the engine has SO much more in it - thus, the decision for the full Novitec kit :)

Yes. It is the same engine as the F12 but detuned so as to give more low speed torque, as befits a car with a more daily-driver/long-distance-driver mission (though 8000 RPM for a 6.3 L V12 is no slouch). You can retune it to recover more high RPM performance. I believe that the Novitec exhaust package with ECU tune will get to 700 shaft hp or so.

Yes, it will, we went with their Stage 1 (which is the most powerful package) - i'll post up the before/after/video/dyno/etc once it is ready...

I had an R8GT spider that I traded for a my FF. Definitely miss it a lot. I rarely have time for another super exotic but something is pulling me to the recent Gt4 from Porsche. Got an allocation and gonna give it a go for a season until I run into an extra 150k to throw at a 458 spider or something like that.

Quick update - balance of parts "should" be arriving at the end of the week...

Not sure what is worse, waiting on a car to arrive, or waiting for the parts you ordered for it, haha!

Hope everyone is having a great week!
