Wow! First time I have seen another white one. I got my white/tan '90 from SoCal last year. In rough shape, but I am working on it... Here it is delivered:

Here is my 94 348, Sera Blu Metallic with grey interior, 46k miles. Owned for 2 years. Just completed a DIY major plus several while I was there projects. Love the classic Ferrari look, sound with Hyperflow and Tubi, and the raw feel when driving.

Nice job Nick, how long did it take? Just can't beat doing it yourself if you want detail like you have accomplished. Bravo.

Hi John, Thanks. It took around three months to do the rear end etc. Ive done a load more work on it since then. Front end rebuild and some paint. Here are some links if you are interested in having a look. All the work is in one thread. Nick.

After recently experiencing ITB goodness firsthand on a 348, do you think it's worth "cutting to the chase" and considering that early in a 348 modification plan? I said I wasn't going to go wild with the car since I bought it to eventually replace my track ///M3 as I'm doing less track stuff these days, but your recent glowing review has me wondering... Don't wanna stray toooo far from stock because I always want to be able to (fairly easily) put the car back to the way it came, but as much of a fan as I am of ITBs they seem like enticing bolt-ons, albeit at a price.

Here is what you need to know.

An ITB setup needs to have a stand alone ecu and a new wiring harness. The stock Motronic ECUs aren't adaptive in open loop. If you bolt ITBs on and then try to run it with the stock Motronic it will run lean and you will loose power. I found that out the hard way a couple of years ago with a modification I did to the intake plenum.

    Having said that.

Yeah ITBs will definitely wake up the engine.

Yep, I'm aware of what fitting ITBs would entail, but, not having experienced them firsthand on a 348, I'm wondering if they're good bang for the buck on that engine. Since you have experience with breathed-on F119s, I was wondering whether you think ITBs are worth adding to the short list, even in spite of the expense.

    Thanks!

Already presented the car but wasn't aware of this thread...

Belgium, Brussels, 1992, #94308, 348 TS nero met. (this is 901/C color code, not 1240), 47 000 km, nearly 100% stock besides the chrome cavallino on the front grill
