Very cool. Groovy indeed. Seem to have a little jazz influence based on what I saw on YouTube. Lead guitarist is very accomplished. Thank you for posting, Mario...T
Nice. Speaking of good old Southern fried rock, the wife and I were enjoying these classics last week https://youtu.be/MUL68ZeclcA http://youtu.be/xjf9V-Z55Ls http://youtu.be/x2aMweK_Vso http://youtu.be/hQo1HIcSVtg T
Yes, they've been playing this song way too much. But not this version. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwsYvBYZcx4[/ame]
This is "too new" for my usual taste, but I have to admit that Lindsey Stirling has an interesting, fresh take on the violin...T
Tonight on my ride home Pink Floyd , Eclipse live version. Superb. Tom , good call on Marshall Tucker and Molly Hatchet , I forgot about these two bands.
They mention the movie "Singles" so around 1992. I just YouTubed AIC Junkhead. I was searching for vocal and drum covers too. AIC is my favorite band and Layne Staley in my eyes is the best rock vocalist of all time. I was actually laying in bed late watching MTV when the news broke he had been found dead. I couldn't believe it.
Yep, great voice. Think I said it a bunch of posts ago, but when Man in the Box broke, it was like nothing I'd heard before, vocally. Great post, Jason...T
Ok so today on the way to lunch in my car I was listening to Robin Trower , Bridge of Sighs. It felt like I was back at U of F at the frat house. Lol
First year, I lived in Rawlings. No A.C. I must have sweated off 20 lbs! It was a coed dorm, and I learned many valuable lessons, including, the ladies dig a dude who can cook. Thank you, grandma, for teaching me how to cook! Man, lots of happy times at the Purple Porpoise & Salty Dog. Ok, back to music, here's one of my fave songs from Hogtown's favorite son...T http://youtu.be/fFnOfpIJL0M
In the 80's and early 90's, a family friend owned a bar in Vancouver that had live bands every night. Most of the Seattle bands coming up in that time frame played there. Even some bigger names from LA came up to play there. Band from Nirvana, Pearl Jam to the Bare Naked Ladies played there. I was lucky saw them all and was on the guest list, free entertainment it was awesome. Especially cool on busy night, it would have a two block line up to get in. I got to skip the line and go right in. Still pissed they closed it! Art Bergmann Fan Site - End of Era with Pump's Passing
Very cool bro , I've seen PJ many times sitting on the stage only because a friend of mines nephew is Matt Cameron. They are definitely one of my faves.
Definitely so. Her videos seem particularly well crafted. Good combo of music & visuals. http://youtu.be/jvipPYFebWc T
Am on a Stones kick. Listening to some of Mick's duets with the ladies. Gimme Shelter with Lady Gaga, not bad. Everyone who knows me, knows that I'm a HUGE fan of the Merry Clayton original version, but Gaga was not bad. Likewise, Amy Winehouse helping out on Ain't Too Proud to Beg was quite good...T http://youtu.be/i1KsM3SqnzM http://youtu.be/edV1Px8NHk4
