Isn't it a Diablo in the background of the second picture?

Even though the car is a replica, it's certainly a fun exercise to try and find something that looks even remotely accurate!
It's like a crime scene - the closer you look the worse it gets, and the worse it gets the more you look.

This is the best analogy I have ever heard. I will use this in the future.

Looks like it, OK eagle eyes, is that Diablo a replica? :D

Next to the Diablo is one of those new Polaris Slingshots.

Just be thankful I held back on using my "sniff test" analogy!

The quickest way to tell its a replica is by the paint shine. Fiberglass is usually very shiny in the sun.

Sometimes with these cars, when they're not burning my eyes, I like
to try to spot any authentic bits.
For one, that windshield looks authentic.

I've heard that a lot of replica owners will go with an actual Countach windshield.... which costs upwards of 7 grand... Which they could have used to start a business.... Or Patent something.... Or invested in the Stock Market.... Eventually allowing them to buy a real Lamborghini. IDK why the **** people do this.

or buy a genuine less expensive sports car.. Making a relica is not cheap by car standards. Some people enjoy losing money or wasting it, especially when they dont have enough of it..that is why they are stuck at the bad replica level.

    This thread is Gold!

Another great saying, so very true!

We learn so much from astute sayings, so lets keep this going:

    1. It's like a crime scene - the closer you look the worse it gets, and the worse it gets the more you look.

    2. Some people enjoy losing money or wasting it, especially when they dont have enough of it..

    3. Anybody?

The worst part is the people passing by that have never seen a real Countach thinking its real and walking away with a terrible impression.

Goes to show just how perfect Gandini got the design. Nearly all these replicas are off & just don't look good at all.

Decided to take my own advice and attempt to "try and find something that looks even remotely accurate!"

So I've had a shot at highlighting what I think's at fault with this otherwise fine specimen.
