Was wondering if any one knew, how many days after receiving the last picture from the assembly line, the car actually ships. I am trying to find out if it will ship before Ferrari shut down for summer vacation; would obviously love to get the car in August instead of September.
The last picture was sent July 20th with this caption: "Your car is now at the end of the assembly line. It will soon be handed over to a test-driver to be put through its paces on the road. Final quality control will then ensure it is ready for delivery."
    Thanks in advance.

Much will depend on if you are paying the airfreight premium but even if it beat the shutdown it'll probably still be 6-8 weeks shipping by sea

Correct. Sailing time is just 12-14 days but after coming off the line, your car needs to be test driven first. Then prepared for shipping. Transported to port. It will probably have to wait a bit dockside - ships don't sail every day- then loading. The whole procedure in reverse stateside. Customs and clearing, transport to Ferrari USA where they prep the car and then transport to your dealership.

Do you think the car will be able to leave the factory before they shut down for summer vacation? Does anyone know when Ferrari closes in August?

8 weeks is about right. I just looked back, and I got the third picture at the end of April and my car was delivered at the end of June. It all depends on timing like others have said. When it gets to port, and how long it takes to get on the boat. How long does it take to clear customs. When it gets on a truck to the dealer, where does that truck go before it gets to you. My car was delivered to Ferrari of Denver but the truck went to Texas first. Congrats on the new car and I hope the wait isn't too long

I received a photo of mine just as you did on July 22nd, it was scheduled to be airfreighted to LAX yesterday. If all goes as planned I will take delivery of it this week.
Hope the factory handed yours to the steamship agent in time you probably will see the car in 30 days.... Good Luck.

30 days is pretty optimistic. I looked at the date on the final production line pictures of my Speciale (it was March 13), and the date my car arrived at my dealer (May 6). I'd say 6-8 weeks is more likely :)

Got my last production line pic on May 24, it just arrived at the dealership yesterday July 31 (will pick it up Thursday).
Although it did sit in New Jersey (port) for 4 weeks... May have been due to the air bag recall, but not sure.
Hopefully the issues that kept a lot of cars there have been dealt with.

    Maybe I am:) ,

From the day I was informed My 2013 spider was ready to ship, it arrived to my dealer in CA 30-35 days. I suspect the cars with delivery of 6-8 weeks sit at a storage felicity awaiting a sailing date for few weeks. There's the possibility of lengthy elapsed time from the day car is ready to ship to the day it is loaded on the vessel.

My 458 took 7 weeks from being handed over, 30 days is way too optimistic
