Does that go for all non-metallic colours, including tri-layers? A metallic Mugello would look stunning.

Pozzi has a little red in the mixture. Rendering should be particular in mettalic.
Are you sure it s possible to realise with the same depth ?

Looks like a game of 2 halves. Love the front end - modern and cool. Don't feel the rear end is as good - the retro rear doesn't work with the modern front IMHO. Overall it's ok, but it's not Pinninfarina quality.

Yes they are, and they account for a high percentage of the incremental downforce for the car

Tim the 275 GTB/4 auction listing just calls it 'Dark Blue' (20-A-185)

The car retains its original colour combination of Dark Blue paintwork and Pelle Arancia interior, having been the subject of a meticulous restoration in recent years. Few 275s were factory-painted in red, and the subtle Pininfarina styling lends itself to variations of silver, pale blue, navy or yellow.

I think it's just great, the fender vents are just crazy nice. the only thing I have a question about on this car aesthetically is the boxy looking enclosure around the exhaust tips.

I am sure that is it but there has to be a reason for its box shape?

Agreed- must be an aero reason.

As to paint- when you go metallic yes it will affect the color. Then you have to make adjustments.

They can do just about any color you want but you will pay for it.

My thoughts exactly. Back end reminds me of old cars and I don't like old cars.

So you like that swoopy whatever on the rear of the regular F12 better? I know to each his own, but that was a weak point of the car. In fact, that more than likely kept me from getting the car. Not to say I won't ever get one, but the flowing curves of the 599 GTB looked much better IMO. I love the back of this F12 VS and I have my fingers crossed about getting an allocation. I can't wait to see it in person

Looking forward to more pics in different colours. But at the moment looks like an old car. Looks like the 250 GTO inspired f12 they did with upgrades. The 599 GTO doesn't have much to worry about it from an aesthetic point of view judging from this one pic.

I would say the f12 stock looks a lot nicer, especially the rear.

I am at a loss on this one. The F12 looks like 3 separate designs. The front with that "mouth", the side profile which to me looks decent, and the rear, which to me looks awful. But there is no cohesion in the design. The 599 had a curvy front which blended nicely with the side profile and carried thru to the rear. Same design house, but the F12 is not iconic at all. Disjointed and just plain weird. The performance, feel, and interior are sublime, no doubt, but if I had one, it would be plain black to hide that hideous back end design

Baloney. The 599 GTB price trajectory got hit when a little old thing called the F12 came out - not the 599 GTO. That's what happens when a clean sheet design emerges. It didn't help that it was so beautiful with vastly higher performance. A limited edition of 600 to 700 cars like the 599 GTO or the new F12 VS is so relatively rare it cannot really drive down the market. Now, if the F12M in 2017 puts a hurt in the area of beauty and performance then you would have a similar scenario. But seeing as though Pininfarina is gone (and it shows with the F12 VS in a BIG way) and most of the F12 reviewers describe the F12 as too fast for mortal men, I think the F12 will hang in there. Your opinion may, of course, vary.

Here's a close up of the Hi Res. Unfortunately, I can't post anything too big on FChat but there are some interesting details going on here. Note the cover on top. I suspect this was under wraps and the cover pulled off to move it and then back under cover.

I think it looks incredible. You could upload it to imgur or flickr and link the picture in Hi res.

So what is the deal with the boxes around the rear exhausts? Does anybody know who has seen the car?

This also appeared on the configurator, so it would not seem to be an unfinished production detail, or is it?

The straight line on the back is very uninspired. The lights above the exhausts will put attention where it may not be wanted I think... I like a lot of it but it has some significant design misses...

Those wheels are no no. I think it would look great with the F12 optional wheels (the very rare ones). Also, what is that rear stripe on the rear? Carbon? Silly IMO.

This one needs a darker color for sure. TDF or G Medio.
