When in 1973 though ? I thought it was painted green specifically for the paris motorshow in October '73 so would have been red for greater majority of the year and isnt that still the earlier interior ?
some of these have been shown before, but not sure if all have #1121098 1979 Lamborghini Countach LP400S Is So Epic (30 pics)
Coltrin? I thought that shot is from the Nichols CAR article where he rode with him back from Monaco to the factory - car was still red then John
Wayne Carini (F-40 Motorsports), just put up this 84 Countach on Facebook for sale with 4400 miles at $550,000: 1984 Lamborghini Countach LP5000S at F40 Motorsports in Portland, CT I think that is pretty cool that they have photographs of the car being loaded onto an airplane. Mike

The plane pic is cool. Cats exotics also has an 84 Countach for sale well: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/cats-exotics/495233-1984-countach-5000s-available.html#post144093104
No, I do not have it..like my post said "I am aware..." Speaking to Wayne's GM today back and forth..I don't think its going to be on the market much longer...
google "green car unlucky" and hundreds of pages will show up i dont generally subscribe to all that stuff (though my family do) but I will admit when I bought a green car my life took a turn for the worse and when I sold it things changed back around - totally coincidental i'm sure, but why tempt fate (and moaning by the family - lol) I still like some green cars - the Miura Joe Sackey had painted in lime green was fabulous but not the darker shades. anyways enough waffle - lets get back to discussing the Countach
Could be. But one thing that has me convinced they were 15s is that a certain factory worker of the period tells me the L500 wore the same Pirelli CN12 tires as the Miura SV on front (7) & rear (9), and the SVs tires were definitely 15s. It's also documented here in the 1971 vol 28 of style auto. Style auto were close to the Italian coachbuilders often publishing the blue prints or the working drawings of the cars. Giving the lag time of the publications of the period, this may have been printed before the car was unveiled in Geneva? Image Unavailable, Please Login
