Circuito di Senigallia

Hi guys,

I'm sorry if I have posted this in the wrong section and please relocate me if I did.

I´m trying to find photos or info about the 1953 Circuito de Senigallia where apparently the only 625 TF (chassis 0302 TF) Berlinetta made its only appearance before dissapearing forever.

Four photos and history of 0302 TF in the book "Ferrari by Vignale", authored by Marcel Massini, published 1993 by Giorgio Nada Editore of Vimodrone-Milan, Italy.

Also: Book "Circuito di Senigallia", Annali, authored by Benito Quadraroli,, published 1989 by Minardi Petroli of Senigallia, Italy.

Thank you Marcel. Your book (a true encyclopedia) I have. I'm going to try to get the other one.

 

This story of 0302 TF / 0304 TF / 0306 TF puzzles me. The only 625 TF usually listed for the 1953 Circuito de Senigallia is 0304 TF or 0306 TF driven by Umberto Maglioli, but these chassis are spyders?

 

The books Marcel recommended are over 20 years old. I am sure there is more recent info?

 

Use the search function on fchat. Especially for 0302 TF.

Marcel, I already had. Very interesting thread "0302 found in Venezuela " with lots of info but hardly any definitive conclusion - with the only exception that a lot of restamping had taken place. I was already aware of the 0304 TF - 0306 TF mix up, but it seems that all 3 625 TF chassis probably were stamped "0304 TF" at least once in their life.

But even that thread is some years old. I wish someone had continued Branko's investigations in this matter. What happened to this "0302 TF" chassis found in Venezuela?

My interest in this thread was triggered by the statement that 0302 TF apparently made its only appearance at the 1953 Circuito de Senigallia and was wondering for which particular driver at that event 0302 TF was entered. AFAIK only the chassis of Cornacchia, Ricci and Castellotti are not listed (with Cornacchia an obvious choice as driver of 0302 TF).

Branko was a unique individual who made some very significant contributions about 0302 to F Chat back in March and April of 2010.Aardy amongst others was also very much involved. I have 61 pages of information from F Chat and other sources including Barchetta which give an informative but far from complete history of 0302. There is also a 0302 post in Google which I have not looked at recently but may be worth a visit.Much of the data on the car while it was in Europe is helpful. But when the car was exported to South America things get foggy.There are some interesting articles in FML. Good luck. tonga's crew

 

It would seem that Senigallia, Maglioli drove 0304TF.

For Maglioli I have race number 92. My lists (which contain only the Ferrari entries) have no #91.

 

#92 was Roberto Bonomi and 0156/ET...
