Yeah, I'd believe it - that door is bent inwards from the rear - probably spun out - the telephone pole came inside the car. About 30 years ago I heard a story of two girls who were joyriding in their dad's brand new Corvette - turned too sharp on a curve near my house, spun, smacked in to a big tree sideways, split the car in two. Crazy.
That car was wrecked in the hills of L.A. maybe 5-6 years ago by two off duty police officers. Both driver and passenger perished.
Do you have a source? I dont question your story, but I kinda want to know how two cops get their hands on a TR. Were there names Crocket and Tubbs?
Thanks for the link.....I was curious since I owned a TR back in 2005 in Woodland Hills. TR owners tend to hear of these things when its in your own back yard.
