I just got "invited" to participate. I figured there would be a cost but didn't think it would be €11,000! I was hoping to attend one or two days since it would interfere with the Monterey Car Week. Think I'll pass on it this year....:)

I inquired about this back in mid-June when I first saw the announcement. I figured since I was local to the SF Bay area, it would be great to join. They said it was by invitation from Ferrari only and asked me to let them know my job and how many Ferraris I currently own and they would see if Ferrari would consider letting me join. I didn't answer because I only have one Ferrari (a F355 Spider) so I assumed I wouldn't qualify.
This morning, I received a follow up email asking if I still wanted to join and they included the registration form. I pretty much fell out of my chair. I'm guessing at 11,000 Euros + 5,500 Euros for the Pebble Beach extension, they didn't have many takers.

Tom, I had the same idea. Thought it would be fun to join in on one or two of the days before the Car Week began since it was pretty much in our backyard. I'm not sure too many people are wiling to pay close to $18K for the full event. I'll settle for the Concorso and the FCA meet.

but at $11,000 Euro to drive on public roads that's paid for by American tax payers? yea, not so sure about that...

My primary engagement is with old cars and vintage race events. Even the wealthiest of folks at the Monterey Historics (reunion) seem approachable and willing to chat. In fairness I was not making any big effort. I hope they have a fun event.

I saw 7 of the cars a little after 4 PM as I went up Mt Tam. One CHP car was in the midst of the bunch. All with european plates and numbers in roundells on the side.
