{/QUOTE}From the front angle it looks really good. The problem is located in the rear![/QUOTE] Reminds me of a lady I used to know.
Base price for an F12 in the states is what, 330k? So the F12 VS will be another 50%? Ballpark of 500k? Does that sound right to the people in "the know" Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Based on 599 GTO, this should be less than USD 500K before options. Some more Euro-USD is 20% lower now. But Ferrari could look at listings around, seeing GTO being marked up to 700K, and decide to set the price at 700K too.
True but this would be very bold. Current used prices are frothy and speculative. It's a different market. Ferrari might face deafening silence if they are too aggressive. The VS will be sensational but it ain't no LaF.
Ferrari displaying the 250GTSWB on the Facebook today. Perhaps not such a coincidence? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
How can anyone complain about the price after all the 'magnificent praise' heaped upon this last of the line iconic car? Why should Ferrari leave obvious profit on the table for the speculators? They are a profit making business and have every right to take what is rightfully theirs. Well done to them for pricing the product more correctly this time.
Pricing of the F12 VS or what exactly? If so, what is the price? Seems like no hard number yet Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Last Friday in Maranello. Nothing new but just wanted to share this one: Image Unavailable, Please Login Gr. Martin
Why would Ferrari be driving such a lightly disguised F12 VS around Maranello at this stage, just ahead of official launch. Surely all testing would be done and dusted by now? Is this a preview drive for insiders or another way to gather additional publicity?
We know the euro price so it is unlikely any other market will differ by more than 10-20%, hence why I was surprised by what I was told about the UK price which I currently consider BS until I hear confirmation. Ferrari will always leave money on the table for speculators as that is part of the game.
You are confusing Apples with Pears. The levers that influence price points - new and used - are related but different. Also don't underestimate the huge marketing brand value to Ferrari of speculators taking risk assuming the market is positive. Ferrari benefit indirectly on the remaining range.
Saw the car in person yesterday. In a word: wow. I *liked* the F12 but did not grow attached to it. The F12VS is a car I could see owning forever.
