Before the storm, as we look out on fairly calm skies, we say: "I think I'll stay here".

Do you get my fairly "twisted" point? When I do offer Rachel to the highest bidder, I'll be OK with even a bit less than these numbers.

    Cheers,

    Hank

Wow, I think ambitious is soft. We know the market is on its way up and maybe this guy is simply 8 to 10 years ahead of us?

What would a pristine 328 with 4001 miles on it go for? This kind of money I think. Now, being that this may be the best Mondial available (curious however that it was kept so original but they did change the steering wheel) could it be worth maybe $150K? $175K?
To the right collector, I think so. Remember, this could be one of a kind.

I see no problem with the asking price.

A prime example worths its weight in gold...

we should not price them together with the project cars,
or many of those well-driven cars.

(ps. not all well-driven cars are bad; some are more driven than others, and accordingly require extensive rehab.
Some well-driven cars are looked after along its way, and of course, would worth more.)

Best of luck to the seller.

Yes, with only 4,001 miles it's an anomaly in regards to data. Best suited for continued preservation at a museum or private collection.

But still priced too high. ;)

But of course. Prime examples can only be red with a tan interior. :)

But then, I went to the dealer's webiste.

It's listed there for the same price.

Used 1988 FERRARI Mondial for sale in COSTA MESA, CA | Eurocar

She is pretty. More than pretty - she's a gorgeous car.

But, I ask myself - is she worth $174,000 more than what I paid for my car in Jan?

Or, to look at it another way, for $199K I could have purchased my car, plus that Testarossa on their website. Or my car plus one of the 360s they advertise, or my car plus one of the Californias. Or with a little negotiation, my car plus 2 of the Ferraris advertised on their website.
