Goddam you just made my day ! especially since I never liked yellow on a front engined V12 F-Car... Grey is just Fantastic. I really can't wait to see the first nasty combos ...
looks great just do not Get the boxes associated with the exhaust... other then that really like the look.. .. I suspect the boxes will look ok in production... love the red...
I thought they were part of some kind of active aero. Early leaks said there was active aero in the rear. Perhaps the top part of the boxes open similar to the front corners in the F12 Berlinetta? If not functional then they might look better in person.
So just an interesting tidbit. As we went to the Casa Ferrari Carmel on Friday, there was a single red Ferrari sign placed several hundred yards north of the Casa on Highway 1. As we passed it the first time, I thought it might be tied to the Casa Ferrari. But when we went to the Casa today, it was gone (even though the Casa was still open). I almost drove up the road Friday to see what was there but fearing men in black, I resisted.
there were men in BLACK & women in RED . looked much better than expected after the first pics from Maranello really like the front much more aggressive than the F12 even the boxy exhaust looks ok but still not sure why the design was needed power increase aside, no loss of torque and the torque band stays in the previous range.. performance goals and achievements will make your heart race a little stronger... aerodynamic enhancements are impressive and numerous . the yellow color would not be my choice in the photos you really can't see that it's a trip/layer metallic paint and looks very rich in person . almost all body colors are the same as current F12 choices there was no name and I really don't care what name Ferrari choses but i suspect the rear quarter vents are a strong indicator of what it could be not sure how or who gets to review/drive the car first but he better not be intimidated by the F12 .
I'm in two minds about this car, I didn't buy the 599 GTO because I felt it was too steep and now I want one more than ever but simply can't justify £600+k. Hope the same isn't going to happen with the F12VS.
You can count on it. At my dealer they are hopeful to get 2-3 cars and they already know which 'most valued' clients will be allocated one.
The 3 rear arch vents would really need to be functionally justified in order not to be a cheap nod to past models, IMO. And the black stripe between taillights... really wouldn't it look better if it was wider??? The rest I can live with and suppose it will grow on me, anyway.
They are. I think the black stripe is the perfect size. I agree and I think it will look amazing assuming you get the colour right and I am now even more on G Ferro or a dark metallic blue. Why the factory is keen for customers to have a light car to show off the carbon bits, I don't know.
I was told prices for the model would be mid 300k Euro after VAT and before options which would send them to 400k Euro and above easily... Now the dealer said this is still speculation but we were having this chat right after I signed for a 488 Spider and I know he was trying to be upfront as possible.
not sure if these have been put up already but thought id provide the link.... Ferrari F12 Versione Speciale Spy Shots From Maranello
