I ordered a set of carpets from a company and the color was chosen after I sent them photos of my current set. The car currently has tan carpets but they sent me dark tan, which is more like brown. I'm not sure what to do as they won't take them back as they were made to order.

They offered me a minuscule discount or to send me bindings that match my seats which would leave me with brown carpets with tan bindings.

Would this look ok in my car as they are or with tan bindings?

I don't want to make you more unhappy but you are here asking. Yes it does not look like a great combination. But that is just my 3 cents.

I agree. To add insult to injury, I like the newer carpet you just received much better. If money not critical factor, I would change out the rest of my carpet to match the new!!!

    Regards,

and more 'insult' [just kidding]... but it is not quite 'period' correct, although the 'brown' looks better being newer and not tired

    .

    But, leaning towards this:
    a. taking the loss and starting over with more correct coloring with a good supplier, or
    b. going the entire 'brown' route and enjoying that

Would it be possible to get them dyed black? I've got light tan carpets, but also put black floor mats with a Ferrari logo on top of them. It's a nice color combination.

Are you talking about the entire carpet set or just the floor mats?

I can't tell from your description of the problem.

    Sorry for not being clear.

This is an entire set of carpeting, I just pulled out the top piece to take a few photos for the manufacture showing the color contrast in hopes that they would take it back...

So given that it is a full set of what they call 'dark tan', what does everyone think?

I have never been a big fan of the black rubber pads for your heels. And not sure why the passenger side has them. I hope you did not spend too much.

Hi Paul, got your PM about the brown carpets. My car originally came with chocolate brown carpets and floor mats. I love them and have not seen another Mondial with the same configuration. Your new brown is lighter than mine, its more like cashmere brown and I would agree with the rest of the folks here that if you gonna go with that color, I would do the whole car along with the floor mats.

    Here's mine for comparison.

I think the brown carpets you purchased will look great with the tan seats. Did they send the carpet for the door panels too?

I haven't checked but I should think so given that it is a full kit.

I think the darker new set of carpets will look stunning with your tan interior ... a good combination... . Whats the car colour ?

I have dark blue carpets with crema interior on my TDF Blue 360 spider , and dark red carpets with tan interior in my Rosso Mondial QV . Both look great = dark and light is a great contrast .

It would look great if all of the other carpet trim pieces matched the dark brown floor mats, but it seems as though there will be lots of two tone carpet pieces, which isn't ideal. I like the mats, just not the color. Maybe you can reorder the correct ones and sell the brown ones. Or, send them all the other little trim carpet pieces and have them make them in the same brown color.

Like the milk chocolate carpets, much improvement on sick coloured.
As said above, richer more luxuriant feeling.

    Hi Jay,
I may have misunderstood. I thought he ordered a set of completely new carpet for the car and was just showing the mat to highlight the difference. I assumed that meant all the carpet would be switched out to the new colour.

You are correct, see previous comments.

All carpeting is included. I repeat, all carpeting is included.
