Dark green for sure. Or maroon/dark burgundy.

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/vintage-thru-365-gtc4-sponsored-vintage-driving-machines/479653-history-avorio-livery.html

There are some examples of avorio 250s with livery in the thread.

I think avorio would suit the old school lines of the vs tremendously well and it would be one of those timeless examples of the vs.

The best interior I have come up on the config for an avorio f12 is either iroko or terra b... with cuio contrasts. Grey calipers. Scuderia shields and darker rims with carbon centre caps.

Closest ferrari in this colour scheme is the 250 gto in grigio ingrid and green livery:)

If putting a stripe on Avorio, why not something as classic and elegant as Avorio itself? Either Blu TdF or Rubino, or simply non-metallic Nero? Would look beautiful.

Don't forget 2017 is the 70th anniversary for Ferrari. That one instead could be the 'keeper' not the VS.

The factory options for stripes are Canna di Fucile and Nero Stellato.
The historical colors offered are Avorio, Grigio Ferro Met, Canna di Fucile, Blu Scozia, Blu Swaters, Grigio Scuro, Azzurro California, Rosso Dino, Verde British Racing, Rosso Fiorano.
The wheels' optional finishes are Matt Black and Diamond.

    Hope this helps,
    W

Ssssh! For goodness sake please don't complicate things. I've only just managed to convince Mrs Camlet to accept the idea of the VS. She thinks I am out of control "with these silly money-pits" :D

Any insight about the interior? To wit, any major differences from the "regular" F12? Diamond plate floor? Seat design? Thanks

Yet again it's all in the thread. Stripped out with carbon panels (Matt) like the speciale. Rear shelf in carbon as an option and from memory two types of seat, Daytona and sports. I only really paid attention to Daytona as that is what I will spec.

    No gold wheels option??? :(

Camlet, I was going to suggest Grigio Alloy which I simply love to death and find suitable for every Fcar, with gold wheels and darker blue details as maybe blue stripe and maybe dark blue carbon bits.

Something close to my take for the Speciale:

Don't know exactly as I missed my viewing and won't see the car now for a couple of weeks when clearly I will know more. I just understood there were these two types, exact details unknown, for now.

Thanks. Do you have real pics plz, the config colour looks more like a very grey. Alloy has a sharp blue tint to it? A mate is speccing his 488 GTB has decided to go Silverstone with a black roof. I suggested Ferro and Black (there's a superb LaF with this). My mate showed me the config supplied by his dealer with Ferro, and the Ferro looked more like Grigio Medio. Off topic but the config tech is awful. You'd think Ferrari could find a smarter solution.

It does look great in that color. I bet if you want gold wheels they can do it for you. For a fee of course :)
