I know this is a bit late, but was looking through this post and noticed the Lucas Fuse boxes, just like my TR6. Scary to think that these are better perhaps than Fiat sourced boxes. I may never be able to own a Ferrari, but my TR6 is fun, and I have the same fuse box as a racing Ferrari. And a famous one at that. Do they still use Lockheed Girling brakes, or Dunlop?

Wonderful, but I do have to say not as awesome visually as #0846 was when she was a coupe (yes I prefer coupes) and solid blood red + gold wheels ...

The roof line of the coupe is just wonderful :).

Such tiny girls aren't they? Just looking at the cabinets really show how small these cars are!

How do you decide which one to take out ... do you have a white board roster so all cars get exercised?

Jim, would love to see 0854 now that it's finally finished. West coast is the wrong coast. :) Lime Rock Historic is out (for good reason). Any plans this year for Americana Manhasset Concours, Oct.11 ?
Have you ever been to Caffeine & Carburetors in New Canaan? (closer than Lime Rock) (Sun. Sept.13 & Oct.18) It's become quite the show. Great turnout, including Miller Motorcars. It's grown so much the town wanted to cancel it. (too much 'activity' in their business district?)
Caffeine & Carburetors ? The official website

Are there any kind of rub strips on the bottom of your car?

Nope. The ride height is pretty high and the front over hang short so this isn't an issue. There is a strong alum jacking plate in front.

That said the car is very fragile so I'm careful when I drive her.

Are you saying this because of her age or compared to #0846, or modern cars?

So no track days then :-( ...

Compared to modern race cars. I do careful track days but not in anger.
