Haha! I don't know him either - thank God - but people I do know who have met him assure me that he's ok. I think he plays a certain role on here and he does it very well. Since Rob departed he's kind of taken over the mantle, if you like. I try not take anything here too seriously. Having said that, he IS wrong most of the time....
If that described what you still think is a good bloke, that might explain some of your latest back pedalling on your car and previous mechanic. You sound like a nutter to me.
There is a thread in talking about people we have met since joining the Ferrari Club, in my case around 1983. What a great idea Horse!!!!
PP, I'm trying very hard to like you right now.......do you want to keep pushing that envelope? I've been very open about my car and about Phil......and it seems like its only you who claims I've trashed Phil. You seem to feel that if you dislike someone vehemently, everyone else should too.
Look... That's just total bs OK. If you were so happy with Phil you wouldn't have taken your car away from him and gone elsewhere. You also wouldn't have giggled like a school girl at the thought of me posting photos of it at Carl's just to stick it up Phil! As I've said 10 times... I don't know what your agenda is our why you're doing a quick reverse over it, but it is what it is.
Actually, I went to Carl just because I felt I had better rapport with him.The first time I went to Phil's workshop, Phil wasn't there and I spoke to Carl and met Rob Hayden. I spent the whole afternoon there and really enjoyed talking to Carl. We just had the same interests and taste in cars. That's why! It wasn't until later that I realised that the shims weren't done etc etc. Get your facts right!
Just rolled over to 14,000km! To which some smarty said..." You hate driving it that much?" Nope, I love my car, of those thousands of km it has been to Monaco GP and all the way back to Maranello, and even around Fiorano. Priceless, to use an old quote.
