    Jeff (Jeff512Ttr) and his partner Alan (the owner of the Challenge car with the lighting bolt) apparently sold the car from under me.

    We agreed on $180K last week pending a PPI from FoCF. Jeff confirmed it with his partner on the car. Jeff said he was out of town but confirmed via text on Wed 8/19 that FoCF would pick up the car on Monday 8/24. Jeff was telling me how he was a Concours Judge, FCA officer and a long time Fcar guy who was buddies with the owner of FoTB and FoCF, letting me know how he was legit and could be trusted.... yada, yada, yada.

    I called FoCF today to see how the PPI was going-- they said the car was not there. Jeff just called me and said sorry but his partner (who already knew I was buying the car) just sold the car to someone else.

    I'm not upset at all, in fact I'm glad not to be doing business with him. I'm chuckling to myself and glad I didn't buy something from someone who has such low character because who knows what other skeletons would have been uncovered.

    Like dealing with anyone. Money leaves honesty in the dust. Sad. I agree with you. Best not to do business with these guys. Thanks for your post

    I know of another car for sale. Let me know. It doesn't have an Evo kit though but it's quite a bit cheaper

    Jeff has since apologized and said it was a a result of poor communication between him and his partner. He seemed like a nice guy in all other respects so I will let bygones be bygones.

    I don't know Jeff's partner but I do know Jeff and his wife personally. Jeff is a very straight up and easy going guy. I would be very shocked if he did this to you on purpose.

    He is a avid Ferrari and Lamborghini collector and runs the Celebration Exotic Car Festival. All proceeds go to charity. I was over at his house when he bought a $850K race car. So, cheating someone for a few dollars on a $180K car doesn't make sense.
