Hi Alberto, silence regarding this project since almost two weeks? Since I have a few free days, I wanted to do a quick drive across the alps to see your car in the flesh. But saw the weather forecast of Modena with temperatures up and beyond 40 centigrade since days and no end in sight. Even more than here in the german southwest. Is this the reason for silence? Do paintshops and workshops have air condition in your region? Will postpone the trip to the Modena / Maranello region till October. Best Regards Martin
Hi Martin, everything is stopped as the specialist that has to reassembly the front bay is unavailable. Then I have to wait for windows frame anodized process. And the body shop worker that has to reassembly the car is on holidays. So everything is stopped at the moment and will restart just in September. Better avoiding a trip here as temperatures are incredibly high. I will be at Nurburgring during the oldtimer grandprix on August 6-9. You are welcome if you want to come here and see the car, but I suggest you to come in September or in October. Ciao
Alberto, I don't know, if I will be at the OldtimerGrandPrix, but definitely will be at Padova in October, so let us all meet there ! Best wishes Markus

All the info/pictures Alberto has posted so far gives already a good idea what the final result will be ! Honestly, taking that car on the road, as the owner, would scare the living daylights out of me.. So does this make you the most bravest Fchatter Alberto ?? ;-)
Grazie! Hope within a month to do the rollout and the christening trip. I'm very excited to drive it that blue thing for the first time! That car won't do many miles, but just some small trips to the mechanic, electrician and so on. I'm scared to damage it too! ------------------------ Thank you all. I like to have a Ferrari fully shining and original that does not look like a scrap the once was a Ferrari: I by far prefer to have a top condition 308 GTB than a bad conditions 246 GT. Good or wrong, I do not know, but I'm that: I cannot stand to own a bad looking car. I'm not rich at all, but I'm doing my best without trying to save any money in the restore. ciao
I've just caught up on this thread, and read through form start to finish - what a fantastic thread. And the car, in that colour, is simply gorgeous - it's jaw-droppingly beautiful. Thank you for bringing it back to life for us all to see
Thank you very much for appreciating my work. The blu sera looks great on full daylight, much less great with low light. Ciao
