Beautiful welds.
Has anyone come up with a solution for the rattling washer on the spring as the exhaust gets hot and expands? It would be ideal to have a longer stud bolt with two springs and a washer in the middle. At present, as the exhaust gets hot and expands ( sometimes over 3/4 inch), the spring gets compressed which leaves the washer to rattle freely on the bolt stud in that gap. Any ideas or solutions?
Yup - don't use washers, or tack the washers to the bolt. Example of Subaru OE exhaust bolt: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks! Obviously it's subjective but with a Spider running MKII and stock cats if I just swapped the muffler and tips would I get; A) A better higher F1 sound? B) A reasonable volume not too obnoxious with top down?
The high-pitch tone will be the same with stock headers and stock secondary cats. The volume will be reasonable, not that loud.
S-Line remains the best Scud exhaust I've ever heard in person. Freshmeat's at Sonoma earlier this this year was orgasmic.
Just ordered mine today - had to repatriate the money from my rim savings, but what the hell that sound is worth it.....My drive with another 430 with S-Line this weekend is what convinced me..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmmvU7fdTog
Cruising sound compared to other sport cars (see at 0:26) [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkR7gotizmE[/ame]
Does it still have the snap-crackle-pop on shifts?? I love driving downtown with tall buildings around me, and hit that perfect upshift and get that snapping exhaust.
I don't think I've posted this video in this thread: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35aNkz0x9fo[/ame]
It's like waiting for xmas to come early.. Can't wait to install these. Currently have Capristo headers, stock cats and tabi. I'll record some before and afters.

Hello, New member to the forum, thanks to this thread ! Got sick of refreshing the page to see any updates on this thread, so finally managed to register. Ronnie, Great exhaust and clean ride, such a beauty, its hard to find original yellow in here. Would the S-ling x-pipe make a difference to a stock exhaust setup ? I have checked all videos, and i have noticed a bit of raspiness on low RPM, which part is causing it, if any. Thanks
