I have my '95 registered as a regular car.
And every two years I have to go through Inspection for emissions only.
    I hate it!

But when she passes with ease...Makes me smile. At least for the next two years.
And today was one of those smiling days.

    Gas Reading Standard
    HC PPM 73 220
    CO% .04 1.2
    CO2% 13.1
    O2% 1.8

At fast idle, she did even a little bit better.

At 20 years old - You go Gal!

They still have DMV test stations or only gas stations now?

I remember going to Lodi each year for my sticker

    Welcome to almost California.

My 355 passes cleanly here as well.

The inspection stations still exist - run by a private entity, and of course associated scandals.

It use to take you an hour + to wait in line for all the safety tests.
But the amazing thing is, even with them just plugging in an ODBII reader (or up the tail pipe for us pre 96 cars), it can still take you an hour in line.

Amazing how those workers can time things consistently to maximize your inconvenience.

We have appointments in California. I've never waited for more than 5-10 minutes.

Same in CT. That's the thing about an OBD I car. If the cats are good it's pretty hard to fail.

I go to dmv in Wayne (NJ) usually only about 5-10 mins wait. Not with the Ferrari though- I do to a local gas station where I pull up and am the only one to drive the car. Last time I went to the dmv with my sports car was when I had a vette and the guy who jumped in to pull the car in almost ripped the seat (rough ingress, pretty heavy guy and stuff hanging off his side belt buckle = not a good combo).
