These numbers will look like a mad bargain in five years, and you can hold me to this comment. There is no better bargain buy for an Enzo period flat twelve. I've decided to hold onto my Testarossa and forgo the McLaren.

Sometimes, you just don't realize what a great car you have until you drive it! So much for my 24-year itch 😜

Funny, I was considering selling my T.R. and getting a McLaren 575 but decided against it, after considering the likely staggering depreciation and boredom factor which are sure to come.
I don't think you can get bored of a piece of art.

The problem with Hagerty values is that they don't put as much valuation on mileage. Right or wrong, T.R. selling prices reflect seem to be based more on mileage than true condition.

Very true. I looked inside my garage last night at the TR and realized how fortunate I am. The MacLarens are all depreciating while the TR is becoming more popular and valuable.

I took it to a recent cars and coffee and was amazed at the reception and interest in the car. It is a work of art.

This is very true. My TR is in concours condition but with 61k miles on it, the value is a lot less than a lesser condition car but with low miles.

The upside is that it is a sorted car. Good to see you enjoy driving it

It's really the only Ferrari I love. It's a very flamboyant car which makes it stick out like nothing else on the road

...well, nothing else other than a Lamborghini Diablo lol ;)

You know you have problems when your oil filter looks like a buoy in the Atlantic.

BHCC strikes again. This time they have a home run (sarcasm). I dint know a car could have that amount of rust.

OMG....that TR is in such terrible shape! Given the rust line on the oil filter, at least we know where the flood waters receded to and stayed.

Oh....front spoiler optional but including the very rare 360 degree rotation passenger mirror lol

    They seriously need consultation.

Oil change (with filter of course), trunk carpet, sandblast the exhaust cats and you can add another $20k to the ad price. This makes me think what else is going on? Bet the brakes and clutch are ****ed. Long storage will do that

Check out how rusted the banjo connectors are on the fuel distributors. And the rust on top of the master cylinder vacuum container. Was it stored in a cave? Also, the big cardboard-like insert under the air intake is backwards and upside down. Hasty reassembly?

I'm guessing $60-70k in restoration costs if not more.

I don't think there is anything wrong with making a little money. It looks like a full disclosure (in photos) sale. I think it's current value is still no more than $30k.

@yenko - my sources are auction results, and monitoring dealer sales. Top cars under 20k miles are asking and getting $170-$190k and even more in Europe.

I am not a TR guy, but that oil filter is very telltale on this car.

    OMG!

Stored on a "beach?" Yes and it would seem the tide came in too.

Imagine what you CAN't see on the pictures. BHCC are expert in making cars look good in pictures. If this car is worth that money I should double mine. At least mine has a new UFI :)
