The 85D is the dual motor 85 kW battery size model S 4 door sedan, that is one if the newest models that Tesla has come out with. The P85D is the performance version of the 85D and was out for the past 1.5 years (so older than 85D). The P85D has the "insane" upgrade which raises HP to almost 700 HP, The brand new P90D further raised the bar with "ludicrous" upgrade to raise HP to almost 800 HP! 0-60 drops from 3.1 seconds to 2.8 seconds from P85D to P90D. Now instead of McLaren f1 performance, you are now a Veyron levels of performance!
