Pirelli specifically stated the minimum pressures amd agreed by reams amd fia.

 

It's a TEAM issue of cheating, not driver infringement so a grid penalty isn't appropriate

 

And Mercedes stupidly throws away a victory - I blame hammy for the Monaco stupidity but this is on Benz 1000%

I think that would be a little harsh TBH.

Remember, Honda *deliberately* "hid" a tank inside the tank - very different kind of cheating.

A tire a tiny bit under pressure? I'm no fan, but it (almost) remains a sport, & I'm not sure anything other than maybe a minor penalty is justified. I suspect, some penalties may come next race, but a DQ still seems a little harsh.

If they checked it before the race why didnt they just pump it up a little? Or deal with it during the race... not after.

(Penalty's after the race are always stupid, the tyre pressure was measured at the start, that allows the marshalls about 1,5 hours to make a decision! )
