Yes, it is a 1969 Lotus Europa Series II. Just got it the other day from a local estate sale...have not put it up yet ont he site..to be quite frank..I am not sure what its worth...so anyone with interest is more then welcome to contact me with a "pre-sale" offer...saves me money having to advertise etc etc...
i sold my black europa tcs for 16k earlier this year. wasnt too hard to sell so probably should have asked for more. im going to miss michaels car being around. love the exhaust on it.
I guess I am just a Fair seller, not greedy..if I buy it right, I sell it right... FUNNY you mention the exhaust on the 5000S. I am sure it has the Sport ANSI Exhaust on it. It DOES sound amazing through the gears in traffic...it is a JOY to operate..smile from ear to ear..
The ONLY reason I came back from my long drive today was because I have to get ready to go to the Seattle Seahawks Game tonight here in Seattle against the Raiders...OTHER WISE I would be half way to Vegas by now...BOY what a JOY to drive this today, made me fell 31 all over again...JUST WOW WOWWOW Image Unavailable, Please Login

Anyone know who this couple standing with legendary Engineer Giulio Alfieri is? Image at the Lamborghini factory in 1982 with LP400S S3 in special color. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Couldn't find any name. However, there was only one LP400S S3 originally made in Rosso Granada (with White interior), delivered on October 23rd 1981 to Achilli Motors (Milano, Italy). If we assume it is this car being serviced in 1982, the VIN would be 1121378. That's all I could find. Hope this might help...
Excellent work Victor, that's the car. Judging by the brake-dust on the white wheels I'd say it was in for its first service. Apparently the first owners were VIP clients (perhaps that's why Alfieri stopped by) but I don't known their names either. They seem interested in the work of the engine-builder. So, cheeky weekend in France with the two women in my life. Today, met with Pierre ( Lambo Club France ) and his lovely dark blue 5000s at the old race circuit of Gueux. What a top chap he is. We are off to Chantilly tomorrow for the Richard Mille Arts and Elegance event. Been dry so far, fingers crossed. Will see Pierre again and take a look at the Lambo display. #1121378 is in Belgium since at least the mid nineties. Now white exterior, burgundy interior and rear wing.
Thanks for that info, do you have any images? Its unfortunate that a special livery is no more, but many cars now exist in a guise different from that which they left the factory.

Are these images from 2011 or presently in 2015? I ask because in 4 years ago in 2011 James reported that he had just finished a 3-year restoration at that time: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/140936364-post10770.html Did it get restored again?
Joe: Not 100% sure. I have been following the restoration work since 2013 on Paul's Facebook page since he statred posting the photos. During that time, It looked like it had an engine-out out service and had the suspension completely refreshed on it during this time. Maybe James will chime in and let us know. Mike
