I'm not sure what the middle section of this is called (the part between the 2 track rod ends). Could it be a Drag link, Drop Link, Tie Rod or Steering ball joint???

    So two questions:
    1/ What is it called
2/ Where can I get one?

It's left hand threaded on one end and right hand threaded on the other. The left hand side threads are damaged. If I cannot find a new part I'll have to try and get it remanufactured or rethreaded. If anyone can recommend a service which can do this that would help as well.

We thought the car was finished and just need tracking.....hopefully this is the last part required and we can get it back on the road.

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

I had meant to post three different photo's, not the same one three times. I have a couple more if required.

It might be best to consult the diagrams on the Ricambi USA website, I am sure they can get you rolling....I would call it a tie rod.

"Tirante laterale" -- does that help ;)

Seriously, if it's for a model of this section, just go to sponsor Ricambi America's website and look it up in the spare parts catalogue (the price shown seems unbelievably reasonable - really).

I'd consult some local machine shops. They will likely have a die to repair the threads on your Tirante laterale...
Tell them it's for an old Fiat!

And the parts on either end are "tie rod ends"; at least in English. French, Italian and other translations to follow by others.

Thank you all for your help. After pulling myself together I found the parts on the steering linkage diagrams and have ordered them through EuroParts (28, 30 and 32 incase anyone is interested).
