As a 16yo, I dreamed that if I was really really lucky, I'd own a Ferrari at 40 years old. Two years ago I realised that dream would never eventuate. There was no way I could afford one, ever So, I stepped up. Today, I took delivery of this beautiful 2001 360 F1. It is a total credit to the previous owners, who only accumulated 19,000kms. The interior still has that nice leather smell. The paint is magnificent (has the protection film on the front and various other spots). The underside has never touched or scraped anything. It was a bit rainy today, but I did manage to rack up a guilty 110kms with a few tunnel runs Sunday is looking like it will be a beautiful sunny day, so I'll have to be patient until then! Way to go! All these other practical daily cars are simply BS...You will be glad you did it... Enjoy.
Congratulations!!! Beautiful car. More pics please. I've had my 360 for four years and am still thrilled by it. Welcome to the club and Enjoy!!!
Congratulations here also from the UK..... Nice story, what makes it even sweeter, is that you went out and earned it!
Congrats - Your story hit home as it was the same for me until June of this year and it was/is a great feeling! Every drive, cleaning or even just passing by it in the garage makes me smile. Welcome!
Basically, I worked harder, smarter, and increased my production and pricing. But to get to the Ferrari, I had to first buy a home, pay it down, find a mentor to motivate me (mindset), set my wife up in a new business (hair salon), pay off all debt (well, except the home, but within two months that will be paid off), get a decent bank roll to then employ an assistant, and increase my stock levels. Xmas 2012 we had $17 in the bank. It's been a hell of a hard slog to get to this point we're at now. I had a GOOD business. I just didnt realise it's potential, and didnt have faith in myself that I could do it. Now I know I can do anything.
Garage is still three weeks away. They lay the pad on Tuesday next week. Ive had to put her into storage until it's done.
