    Hey,

I tried searching for the thread where both the Viz & Tom recommended this book. I know the authors name was mentioned a few times, and figured keyword "Cimarosti" would find it, but no such luck! :(

In summary; a *great* history book. Not one you start on page one and read all the way thru, but rather "dive in" to whichever season interests you.

Fabulously organized, researched & in depth, I'd recommend this to any serious fan of the sport.

As I think Tom noted, would be great if they'd do another version covering from when it finishes (1996) up to the present day.

    Thanks for the recommendation guys!

    Cheers,
    Ian
PS - As far as I can figure, it's no longer in print, but there's quite a few available on Amazon right now; reasonably priced too IMO.

Glad you like it. its about the best book I know of on F-1 history ... from the late 1800's to early 1990's... it does cover it all in a fairly comprehensive way.. and then gives you the base to read up on more detailed areas.

While I'm sure you'll enjoy it, don't thank me - 'Twas the Viz & TomS that turned me onto it! :)

    Cheers,
